DYK Thread for JULY
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members
Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

It's my understanding that you have to inform a patient if you test for HIV
I've heard Michael say that whenever they test for HIV, they should test for Hep C, since it's transmitted the same way, and many times people are co-infected
LOL @ "Spy for Olive Garden"
I love her sunglasses
I have almost the same pair
I'm glad she had fun! :)
The Melting Pot sounds really good
I might suggest that to Michael for tonight, depending upon what time they get back from the pool
I hope you're having a blast!!
maybe they didn't on me since I had just had the MMR 5 years prior???
or maybe they did and didn't tell me??? She went into a lot of detail on my second visit on the results--especially because of the blood type issue (the Rh).
he thinks he hit it on the interstate, but the way it's tucked (vertically) in and at the top, I don't think so. I think it went in for a nap, and didn't wake up in time to get out of there.
I just can't believe they didn't see it. Um, hello..a furry-winged thing does not come standard on Corollas!!
LOL--well, it was a good thing I was tested because I didn't know. Both of my parents were O+ and we knew very little about it, so I thought I was +. That information helped me understand genetics a lot better when I took biology in college and now teaching it.
I was tested early for the group B (it was routine at 35 weeks, but I was having some kind of issue at 33 or 34 weeks), tested positive. Was tested AGAIN at 35 weeks, and was negative (after a dose of antibiotics). Then I was tested again at 37 weeks (since I had been positive at one point), and tested positive, so I was on antibiotics "for the duration of the pregnancy", which happened to be just one more week. They tested again when I was admitted for delivery AND put me on a drip, I was negative, but they left me on the drip just in case.
