DYK Thread for September
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members
Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

dyk you missed the big news yesterday
Amy's team won their game today because the other team forfeited (couldnt get enough players) so they are now 3-2 on the season. She was not happy about not getting to play at all!
DYK does Kayleigh take that drawstring bag everywhere or just school?
DYK last year Amy had just 1 purse and used it on an as needed basis only
DYK now she is becoming a purse-a-holic. I was shocked when she expanded to 3 and now after today she is at 5!

You know I figure I'll never tell Gab she is too old to trick or trea as long as she dresses up and is polite.hey grow up too fast as it is and if there is a little smigien of childhood she wants to hold on to who am I to stop er.She actually seems pretty excited about Halloween this year.I am not sure who she will be,She and her friends were talking about the Spice Girls.Gabby wants to be Posh.We will see.....Is Keleigh in 9th or 10th grade this year?
Gabby also metioned having a party, but I am not really up for it since I think she wants to invite some of the boys she hangs out with too so I would have to be pretty vigelent without being
dyk Congrats to Amy's team, how wonderful that they are ahead for the season
dyk fingers crossed that continues
dyk Kayleigh takes the drawstring bag anywhere she needs to take some stuff but most of the time, she doesn't reallly carry much of anything with her
dyk the phone and IPOD can fit in pockets, she doesn't often have more than that with her
dyk when she was a little girl, she had tons of purses, my sister used to enjoy getting them for her

A lot of the girls here like to have designer purses.Either Coach or Dooney and Burke, plus a few Louis V's.Gabby's dream purse is a pink crocdile Hermes Birkin bag.She can dream all she wants cause that is NEVER going to happen unless she buys one for herself one day.
She is reading Bringing Home the Birkin for a book project at school. It is about this guy who travels the world in search of Birkin bags, then he sells them on e-bay.Suppossedly ther is a 4-7 year waiting list for one of this purse which cost $4000-$7000 depending on what one you get.
dyk Kayleigh is in 9th grade
dyk I think I stopped trick or treating at 12
dyk if she just wanted to go around our neighborhood that would be fine but all of her grand plans require effort and money on my part

dyk I've never heard of Birkin or Dooney and Burke
dyk shows what I know
dyk Clearly I am not into the fashion scene
dyk I buy my bags at Kohls
dyk I'm amazed seeing all the girls with the Coach bags and wonder how and why parents can spend that much money to buy their daughter a handbag
dyk If I had that much money, I'd be buying something for me, not a no-occasion gift for a teen but that's just me
