DYK Thread for September

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Wow they are young. If you lived here they would just be starting kindergarten.

When's your cut-off date?

Ours is Sept 30, so they'd be going to 1st grade.

I hope Matthew has a great first day of M/S.Thats cute about Matthew and the band name stuff.Gabby likes all of those stores too.She does not wear much from them though, since she is into the dressy look this year.Forever 21 is great for that.

CAn't wait to see pictures of everyones first day.The girls dresses sound adorable. Are they nervous about being in school all day?First grade is a bit of an adjustment,as is the start of M/S.My baby is in her last year of M/S this year.I don't know where the years have gone. There is barely any little girl there any more.Everyone in awhile it comes out,but less and less now.She did not even want me to walk her to the bus stop, becuase according to her she is a grown woman now.Not sure about that but I get her point.

Same here our cut off is the last day of Aug.Kids have to be 5 by Aug 31st.There are one or two school in the area that have a Sept 30th cut off,but for the most part it is Aug 31st.There was actually a school here who wanted to make the cut-off May 31st,so everyone with a summer b'day would have been 6 when they started kdg. Some parents whose kids fall close to the cut off do hold their kids out for a year depending on the kid.My

Thanks for asking Tracy!

I am feeling a little better today.

I took some of the cough medicine the doctor gave me last night, and I will never take that again!

About an hour after I took it, I felt like I was going to throw up. I was dizzy and felt drunk, it was awful.

I woke up this morning with a horrible headache.

I feel better now though.
