DYK Thread for September

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

DYK I'd be annoyed like you about the sports facility emphasis over the academic facilities. I suspect the booster club probably had something to do w/that since even public HS can use booster club fundraisers to pay for school equipment/facilities.

DYK I was telling DH when I was looking at the private HS website, it said a parent donated a turf field to the HS this summer! That would be unheard of w/public school....there's only one turf field in our public schools altho there are nearby counties that have replaced all their HS grass fields w/turf.

LOL!At least she found something she enjoys.Gabby was soured on the cheer experience when she was 6.They had to practice so much(too much for a 6 year old)and the coaches were so mean to them Gab never wanted to cheer again.I actually think she would like it now,but I amkeeping my mouth shut;-).
