DYK Thread for September

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

DYK

Alexis' science teacher was out for the first month or so of school for a brain surgery. when she came back she handed out packets for the chapter and told the kids to get to work.

Alexis asked about all the labs in them and she said of course they had to do the labs, it was science....Alexis did most of them at home. Not to mention a ton of other graphing, etc. that was in the packet.

None of it had to be done. She probably spent 5 hours on it last weekend and it turns out none of it needed to be done.

I hope that this next chapter goes a little bit better for them all.

We got our school pictures back last week.

Caleb's hair had been cut too short so I don't love his.

Alexis' is okay, nothing spectacular.
