**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.

DYK I really wish DH would understand that some of us don't do well on 5 and 6 hours of sleep each night, we need a little more to function properly the next day, and a week worth of that sleep, we are very grouchy by Friday.

I hear you Tracy!!! Things are much the same here. Dh gets 6 hours of sleep/night and doesn't understand that the rest of us can't do that and function well. He also doesn't understand that he gets incredibly crabby too. He may be productive, but he's a grump...

DH is always in a pretty good mood, which I think actually makes me more crabby at times. I am beginning to think its not just my lack of sleep, I seem to have hit a bump in the road motivation wise and am having a hard time "picking myself back up," so to speak. The lack of sleep doesn't help either, but I think that is just a compounding problem at the moment.

You can do this! Pick one little step toward getting back on track and do it. Make it something simple. Quick, easy success will get you motivated again. I know this sounds cliche but it's the truth. Been working for me lately... :smileyhappy:

Here's my guess. With three girls, they probably change clothes at least once/day and then of course, it's all "dirty" in their minds. That 's how it works in our house anyway...

Both kids are guilty of doing that.  I don't know which one's worse- Kristen or Becca.

But let me tell you- 3 days of only 1 kid- and the laundry has gone WAYYY down LOL.

I'm thinking Kristen's going to be re-assessing how many clothes she wears when she figures out that 1) she has a finite number of clothes and 2) it costs her $3 or so per load of laundry, and I only gave her $75 on her laundry card LOL.

Oh get this- as we're moving into the dorms- there's a bulletin board up on each of the floors.  They have directions how to do laundry on both the guys' floors and the girl's floors LOLOLOLOL

Ya, probably, jordyn changes at least twice a day, sometimes 3 if she has both h/s cheer and competitive cheer practices in one day.

DYK I apparently have a very cranky 3 year old. She has cried over the following things since we made it home an hour ago: I took away the iPad when dinner was ready, she wanted to spoon her own sauce onto spaghetti, she disn't want her meatballs cut up, she doesn't want meatballs, she wants more meatballs but hasn't taken a bite of dinner yet, she wanted a different glass from the cupboard than I got out, she wanted to pour her own OJ, she needed to go potty, she needed the light turned on in the bathroom, and finally, that Emma turned on the light in the bathroom and not me. Sigh. Someone will be going to bed very shortly.
