~~~~~~~~~~DYK Thread for JULY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**
DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know
It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members.
dyk she is on the more developed side when it comes to school friends but not as obviously with soccer (as they are a year older) and certainly not as large as some
dyk it really is the swimsuit issue and that is such a part of life here in FL that makes it an issue for her
dyk I am doing all I can to help her in the transition
dyk I do always appreciate words of wisdom from those who have already been through things we face
We have a nice outdoor waterpark near us.We try to go once a year.Yesterday it was so hot,they ended up turning people away since they reached max capacity.
Sounds like something Gabby would do.She is so not a Twilight fan.
When Jordyn when to cheer camp did you end up buying the XL sheets for the bed?How many towels did you send her with?How long was she gone?I probably should just email you some of the packing questions.They gave us a pretty good list,but still..They actually said to plan on two ooutfits a day plus and evening outfit.I don't know about that.Maybe two shirts and extra socks,but I don't see changing soffe shorts twice a day.but what do I know.
My girls have the opposite problem.
Since they're short and small, neither had a whole lot in middle school.
The only time Gabby will even consider wearing a one piece is when she goes to water parks and she will be riding wild slides.However,one peices for teens are hard to find.So she will sometimes wear a tankini for that.Other than taht it is a bikini.
Call me old-fashioned- but I won't let either kid get a bikini.
Even though Kristen would probably look cute (and get many heads turned her way)- I just don't want to go there.
It has to be hard to be one of the first girls in your class to develop.Gabby was pretty much at the end of the pack,but not quite.Although people often think Gabby is older,because of the way she carries her self,she really isn't too big in the chest.Gabby is about 5 ft 4 inches tomorrow,
