I love it too, I would love to actually learn to make it from scratch some day... in a far off distant future. LOL! I'm a little sad I didn't really get any, but if the kids love it that much I can't tell them no. I probably should have made more side dishes, of course Emma seems to be on a boycott of side dishes lately again, she refused to eat her pears at all yesterday with lunch and last night I made turkey tenderloin and stuffing, she refused to eat any of it and only once she got in the bath and i was sitting there eating mine would she eat any, and only off my plate. Funny how everything tastes better off mommy's plate.
Ya, I don't know. I can understand being mentally drained after the testing and everything, but like Jordyn said, they set aside the entire day for it, so what happens when you get done during 2nd or 3rd period and then have the rest of the day to either sleep or read a book and that's all? I know its only a few days a year, so its really not that big of a deal. I guess their school was picked to do random state monitoring tomorrow, so there will be state officials poking their heads in and out checking and watching the testing.
I like mashed potatoes, but I didn't feel like making them and didn't have time to get the country crock ones from the store on the way home. Bread and butter sounds good right now, I'll have to get me some of that now. That's been my snack of choice lately, wheat bread with butter. DH reminds me everytime that the butter on it isn't "healthy for little Brian." ya, whatever...
For the most part, all classes are finished by lunch time. The only students that aren't are some of the students with extended time, but they are not in the general population. So we have to come up with something to do with our afternoon classes that is not too strenuous, and not graded. So you can imagine the classroom management at that time. UGH!
