DH got home way early today, around 2:00 and he was going to do homework since he has a ton of it. i was pretty disappointed when I called him at the end of the day and he said he hadn't done any at all. But when I got home he had left to get Emma and I found that he had gotten me a new sink faucet, a very nice goose neck one, cleaned the inside of the oven, and done the dishes. Every once in a while he really surprises me.
Like Chili's "bar" is a bar-bar. Aly & I have been seated in the bar section before. If it were like a real bar, she wouldn't have been allowed in that section and they certainly wouldn't have seated us there.
Don't let it bother you! Like you said, if people would READ and try to understand posts, they'd "get" it.
our tv that was 16 years old went out last fall and we had to buy a new one. We just couldn't pay the amount for the really flat ones, so we ended up buying a flat-screen, but really deep one for much cheaper. That was the heaviest TV we'd ever picked up, and a friend said the same about hers like it--so the flatter the screen (on the big TVs), the heavier the set???...lol
This is a school play, right? See, that wouldn't happen here...they would not approve any school events during testing.
It's all about the test.
I had LEAP tutoring tonight (tutoring the 8th grade students in math), and one girl asked, "Why do we have to come to school if everything is determined by this test?"
We've sat in the bar area of a couple other restaurants besides Chili's.
We never sat in the bar area before 2007 because it was always the smoking section, but now we have a no smoking in restaurants law, so sitting in the bar area is usually no different than sitting in the restaurant area.

I just get irritated because they rarely know what they are even talking about. As is usually the case.

we have always had testing for one full week (always). But this year, they are doing Wed, Thur, Fri, then Mon, Tue of the next week.
Not sure what will happen next year because of Easter.
