That sounds like fun! I need to order the strawberry plants and the mini pomegranite tree that I told Jordyn we could get. I have been putting it off, but I think we're good to get them now.

I also need to decide on a new rose bush color to go in the front yard.

"(as far as the kids are concerned--school's over after LEAP...."

Yep, same way here; after the MCT, that's it, in their minds!

Is the "tree diagram" similar to "factoring"?

We had 9 weeks after testing last year. 8 straight week after Easter. That was murder!

no, that's the factor tree.

The tree diagram is to find as many combinations that are possible.

One example:

Pizza, you can get small, medium, or large, and you can get sausage or pepperoni.

You would do 3 "branches" to show each: small, medium, large. Then you would do 2 "branches" off of each size to show pepperoni & sausage. You have a total of 6 combinations (2 x 3).

Funny thing: I did my tree diagram to the side, and Aly did hers down.

This year should be easier. 5 weeks after testing/Easter.

I don't work more than 2 5-day weeks in a row for the rest of the year.

This week & next week are 5-day weeks (last week was 3 for Mardi Gras).

Then, I'm off 2 days for NSTA.

Then 2 5-day weeks (starting testing the second week).

Then, 4-day week (off Good Friday and the next week).

Then, 2 5-day weeks (and the first is Youth Wetlands Week, so it's all fun & games for my class).

Then, Beta--3-day week (Beta on Thurs & Fri).

Then, 2 weeks and the end of school!!!
