Thanks! Some were borrowed from different dance studios.I do think someone made the costume Gabby has on since all the girls had the same costume, but I am not sure the H/S also lent us some costumes. The only thing I had to buy was a pair of suntan tights. They also ordered character shoes for the girls and if you wanted to you could buy them and if you did not want them they are donated to the theater company..Not sure where they got the wigs.Every girl had a different colored wig.One girl actually cut her hair like that so she did not wear a wig.I am hoping once we get the pictur cd I can most more pics of the costumes. They got a lot and they were displayed in the lobby,so I am hoping they put those pics on the cd.
Have you heard of the Jena 6 case? Where on a school ground, someone hung nooses on a tree because some blacks one day sat under the tree that was traditionally where the white kids sat? Then 6 black students were arrested for violence in response to the nooses?
Well, this happened about an hour from Jena, when some high political figures (such as, but I'm not sure exactly who, Jesse Jackson) were in the area to support the Jena 6. This kid (he was still a student) hung 2 nooses from his truck and drove near the area where they were marching.
Mostly by the parents and the local businesses. We all had to seel/buy $45 worth of ads so I am sure that helps.Plus the H/S plays are really good productions and a lot of people donate costumes or they have costumes from different plays but the same time period. We have a year round Halloween adventure store here so they donated some nuns costumes for one scene. The sets were awesome. Some of the dads built a huge platform for the show girls to dance on when they were in Fat Sam's Speak easy. One of the moms looked around thrift shoes and such to get some of the props for the play. The lobby was really cute some of the charcters walked the lobby selling candy cigerates and bubble gum cigars.Another walked around with a camera from the time period and snapped pictures. They even build ticket boothes and such. They had a little shop that sold cheap suveniors.I wish I had more pictures to post.It was really neat.I know a lot of stuff was donated though.

Probably a disturbing the peace charge.
So it wasn't like he was just driving around with them on his truck, he was intending to incite violance.
I'm thinking about making a second latte.
if anyone can open it let me know...please
