Wow--that must be hard to sell that much spaghetti. Did y'all do it in connection with some event?
We sold jambalaya dinners for Beta for 2 years (well, they did before I got here, too), but it came down to--the kids had to sell $60 worth to be eligible for state, that ended up being a $35 profit for the kids (we usually made enough to pay for the charter bus for the 2 days & overnight--we usually sold a few more dinners to the basketball tournaments going on at the same time across the field). But the parents were buying the $60 worth and giving it to family members in many cases and the kids were required to work the jambalaya sale. So we figured it would be easier for the parents to just fork over $35 rather than dealing with all that.
Bugsy Malone with Scott Baio and Jody Foster. It was made in the late 70's and the cast is mostly kids playing gangsters.Dandy Dan wnats to tak over Fat Sam's speak easy,so they have "gang fights" where everyone is getting splurged with silly string, the drink root beer.I think in the movie they throw pies and drive around in little pedal cars.It is really cute and very age approiate for M/S.You can see clips of the play(not from Gab's school )on you Tube if you type in Bugsy Malone Jr.
I thought so--once I read that the grandparents at Century Village put the noose on their t-shirt design, but at first I thought it was Ham being a jerk.
Thats why we just bought the ad.Dale's dad,my mom,Dale's mom and Dale and I all pitched in $11.25 and we got the ad.Although next year we will not ask MIL since she complained about the quality of the ad,as if it was some professional book. The ad was a little grainy so MIL did not like it.I think she wanted her money back. The only reason we ask is because we figured she be upset of everyones name but hers was in the ad.Oh well......
WE just wound up buying the tickets.. I hate asking friends then you have to reciprocate lol not like babysitting sorry sorry I know being bad. As for the charter bus, we have buses in the system that have the luggage space. did any of u see that mtv special two a days??/ well if ya did thats our school system... I am not sure how much the transportation dept charges or exactly how that works..when the s.e.c baseball comes here they use our buses..where michael jordan played baseball??right there,,lol
and rigght before the season we have to sell adds for the program all sort of stuff...it's a pretty extensive program but then our gym all the teachers use and it looks just like one of these professional ones that u pay for...our school is more like a college campus really....
