ER visit this afternoon

My 10 year old Adam took a really hard hit during the football game this afternoon. Actually he got tackled and landed on another players face mask. One of his coaches is a fire fighter and he was the first one to him and kept him still since it was his lower back. Then we called 911 and they transported him to the hospital. A couple hours later after the doctor finally looked at his xrays which were clear and his pee test was good, he was finally released. I even made sure to get the doctor to sign a release so he can go back to football practice Tuesday.
Ok it was a little more drawn out and drama filled than this version, but you get the idea.

I guess it hasn't been our week around here between all thats happened. I know Nik's phone call telling me she couldn't breathe & to come get her at school scared the daylights out of me. Now we have all this stuff for asthma.
I think a little healthy peace & quiet is in store for us. I hope his knee is feeling better.
This posted right in the middle of a sentence. I guess ivillage is feeling a bit under the weather also.
