DYK Thread for February

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

Wow, that's a lot of parents. How many kids are in the production? I think we only have about 15 kids in ours, since its only a one act play they don't have a ton of participants.

Do NOT let her read Wicked! I am very liberal when it comes to books, but honestly Wicked is the most disgusting book I've ever read. It is actually the only book I can recall ever being sorry that I read it.

When they rereleased the Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Anniversary edition, Jordyn wore a hole in the video tape from watching it over and over again. We had to buy a second copy.

And it's coming to Birmingham, AL over Easter break, that's also 6 hours away. I'll need to mention it to Mike.

Then I won't get to see the pandas...*pout*.

I don't know if I didn't realize it was coming to San Antonio or what, but that will be an opportunity for us. It's coming to Austin after we start school, so that would be a busy weekend to get there for that, 8 hours away.

That sounds like a pretty cool show. I may have to find and watch it sometime, or DVR an episode to watch on the weekend.

Those are all the tapes we have. Jordyn was obsessed with them, I have the entire collection of them on VHS. I was thinking about selling them about the time I got pregnant with Emma. DH thinks I'm weird that I kept them around for so long. But heck, every once in a while Jordyn would pull out one and watch it, even at 9 and 10 years old.

Really?? Good to know, I am usually pretty liberal about what I let Jordyn read. I'll have to look into it beforehand now.
