DYK Thread for February

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

We have one good theater in town, and one really bad theater. It's very small, I mean really small, and the floor is always sticky and gross. Honestly the theater is so small you could be the first one there and not find a good seat. I don't know why it's so bad, the same people own both theaters.

ewww!

They've closed all the old theaters around Baton Rouge..all they have is new or refurbished "state of the art" theaters. There's not a single theater open now that was open when Mike & I were dating, and within the first couple years of us dating, we went to 4 different theaters.

Actually, there's one that may have been open at that time, but we didn't know about it because it is far from the interstate, and in an area that we just didn't know about. Even that one with only 4 screens has state of the art seating & sound all that stuff.

wow!...lol

Our theaters have loads of screens, but not nearly as big as WDW's theater (I was afraid I'd get lost in that theater...I think 24). We don't have any outside of Baton Rouge...the closest would be in Hammond, about an hour away from Baton Rouge. But Baton Rouge has 5 theaters that I can think of off-hand.

I don't think Baton Rouge has had a theater with less than 4 screens (even Broadmoor which is up for lease...lol...it's been around since the 1950s, but it's been closed since Aly was about 2).
