DYK Thread for February

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I just found it funny that they were talking about it over a year ahead of time.

Awww...I was afraid she might feel like that. I hate not having her here...I hope she's able to come back soon.

I didn't start public school until 8th grade, but the school I went to had a formal spring dance for all grades 6th through 8th.

Almost all of the middle schools here have a formal homecoming dance, but we don't, thankfully. Can you 6th graders renting a limo? Yeah, it happens!

Well the light from the windows is ok, but it still makes me crazy.

Well only 8th graders can go to the formal dance, so at least we don't have 12 year olds renting limos.

oh ok. The "old" classrooms (not the new building each have a wall of windows. I remember a couple years ago our principal e-mailing us something about natural light being better for learning than the fluorescent light and to try opening the blinds & turning off the lights. Tried it, didn't like it.
