DYK Thread for February

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I like natural light, but there has to be enough of it. When I'm reading or writing I want overhead light.

I took the ibuprofen, but I also realized I hadn't eaten for awhile so I'm having a Hot Pocket.

we went to a New Balance store to get ME some new shoes, and ended up buying Mike TWO pairs of shoes, and me my one pair, and 2 pairs of socks for Mike, and a pair of inserts for me.

My nephew worked there before he left for Iraq, so eventually that came up in the conversation with the guy fitting us. Yes, he knew him VERY well, it was Frankie that insisted he come to work there, and another guy there (that Frankie met because he worked there) knew him too. Neither knew him by the name Frankie so that was pretty informative to them...they just knew him by Frank, so I'm sure he's going to be teased ruthlessly when he comes back.

Both of these guys were at his party last summer. Of course, they probably had over 150 people at some point during his party.

me, too. And coming in just from one angle is hard. Especially for those further away.

yes, you definitely need to eat something with (or before) taking ibuprofen.

I had the appetizer coconut shrimp and a garden salad.

Aly had a cheeseburger & fries.

Mike had a ribeye & sweet potato & garden salad. His steak was well undercooked when he got it, and he was nervous about sending it back, but the manager brought it out and was super nice about it.
