* Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day
Actually, as my blinkie says, "Make it a great day or not--the choice is YOURS"!
Heres the question... How many of these are you superstitious of?
* To find a four-leaf clover is to find good luck (I don't know about good luck--but definitely a cool thing..I found one on St. Pat's Day one year, but didn't even realize it was St. Pat's Day until I found it....now, that was cool)
* If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck (not bad luck, but I'm afraid it'll fall, so I avoid when I can)
* To open an umbrella in the house is to bring bad luck (I just choose not to)
* Garlic protects from evil spirits and vampires (obviously, someone who believes this hasn't read Twilight--he takes her eat at an Italian restaurant...duh!!)
* If you blow out all of the candles on your birthday cake with the first breath you will get whatever you wish for (I used to believe this...doesn't work, does it?)
* An itchy palm means money will come your way (this was one of my grandma's superstitions)
* Eating fish makes you smart (in Iceland, they give fish oil to the students at school. I heard a commercial, thinking how gullible would I be to believe this, then asked an online friend from Iceland!!!)

Why not? I call that being wasteful! A container should never be returned dirty!
No,no...this is referring to if someone gives you a dish filled with something, you should return the favor by filling it with something else. Not returning it with some of the original dish still in it.
Since I'm not a good cook, I choose not to fill it...LOL.
