I'm stopping off at the grocery store this evening on my way home from work. Then Sat morning the girls have 10am appt w/the sports trainer....on the drive back home I'm going to stop off at the library since both girls want to borrow books for their school reading requirements. I'll probably hang around the house cleaning up & doing laundry since our new dining room furniture set is being delivered between 1-5pm. (Huge moral victory for me...after 7 yrs of living in this house I finally pushed DH to agree to getting a set....he's taken over the empty dining room w/his junk & the kids have too w/their toys...now that'll be cleaned up ;-)
Sunday Rachel has an all day lacrosse tournament 45 min away; her first game is at 10am & if her team makes the championship it won't be over until 3pm. I may take ydd to a movie & skip going to the tourney. We also got invited to a team cookout after the lax tournament but we don't feel like coming home to change & then going back out again as the family hosting is 45 min from us & all of us have to go to either school or work on Monday.
Today is quiet. Evan is home sick (fever and aches, etc.) but he's not demanding too much attention. He's downstairs in the family room with dh who is working from home today so he's not lonely and whining about it. Dh isn't feeling that great either. :( I hope they don't share it with the rest of us.
As far as our weekend goes... Megan is running a 5K tomorrow morning as part of the Girls On The Run program she participated in this fall! :) Not sure who's going to go cheer her on yet. If Evan's still sick, someone should stay with him because the whole thing (drive to the course, race, and trip home) will take 3 - 3.5 hours and I'm just not comfortable leaving a sick kid at home for that long. Megan was supposed to have a sleepover Saturday night but since Evan is sick I think we'll have to reschedule... :(
Sunday we'll go to church and watch the Bears game.
Poor Em! I am hypoglycemic as well. When I need to eat..I start to get the shakes and have passed out before. Its bad.
Anyways...not much going on around here. I need my nails done today as well. I am supposed to go to a banquet with Julian tonight but I think I'll pass. I want to stay in with my kids tonight and get my laundry done. Dh is leaving for CA tomorrow morning so I need to get in single mom mode...
Saturday: Jasmin is helping at her troop leaders baby shower. The boys and I will probably catch a movie if they don't find a playdate. If I am childless I will go to the bookstore with a coffee and browse the aisles (this is my prayer)
Congrats on your new dining room set.Enjoy!Just don't let the girls use it for their school projects. My dining room table is always covered with school work or project stuff! We even eat on it evr=ery night, but Gab moves her stuff to the empty 4th place and I really only clean it when we have company.
I love doing the bookstore thing.Since Gabby dances twice a week and her school is 30 mins from our house,I usually hang at the book store while she dances because it is too much drive there then home here then home.I use too much gas.I generally have a good 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.It is very relaxing.

Sunday: church and the Bears game
Hey everyone!
We are having our Thanksgiving luncheon at work today, so not much actual work is getting done.
