Well, I"d like to think the board just doesn't like me, but I think its a pretty non-discriminatory board right now and spreads the "not working" love around. Tongue Out  Forgive me for my blahness, its been a long and frustrating week over in my patch of the world.

Today, not real sure.  I am working on a project, possibly an errand at lunch, or a nap.  After work I have a chiropractor appointment depending on traffic, and I have no idea what's for dinner tonight.  DH is going skyudiving, and yes, I"m just a tad jealous, not of the skydiving, but of the ability to spend a week day doing something like that... Jordyn's pep rally was moved from before school to 11:45, so she didn't have to get up early.  She has team dinner tonight after school and then is going into work to prepare and blow up balloons for the birthday party she is working on Sunday.

Saturday, probably a chiropractor appointment first thing in the morning.  Jordyn has to be at the school at 10 for the bus to the varsity football play off game.  It starts at 3, and its a 2 1/2 hour drive, so I am not sure why they are leaving that early, but oh well...  She won't be home til late tomorrow evening.  Emma has a birthday party from 3-5, its a "sophisticated tea party" and she is excited about it.  Its right down the road from us, so if I haven't gotten Madison down for a nap by then, I will try and get her down for a nap while Emma is at the party and then get the stuff out of the attic to put up the christmas tree I suppose.

Sunday, Jordyn has a birthday party she is working at the gym as well as her normal work shift and practice, so she'll be gone most of the day.  I also need to remind her of some scholarship deadlines at the end of next week she needs to work on this weekend if possible.  I have to get groceries and start on my meal plan for next week, lots of laundry and paperwork for DH also.  A cold front is supposed to come in over night Sunday, going from the 70's into the 50's starting Monday, so I want to try and finish raking up the leaves in the yard.  I've tried the past few weekends and its been so windy I can't get it done, and I need to see if DH can get us some firewood also for the cold weather setting in.  Nice to finally see some in the forecast.

Have a great weekend ladies!!

We are getting an early start.  On load 2 of laundry, dishwasher emptied and reloaded.   Zeph has already taken a history and a literature quiz and is now working on a history project.  Hoping to leave the house by 11 and go out for breakfast followed by seeing the Lincoln movie, Kohls, doggy boutique, DSW, Target, ToysRus, and then picking up Buffy.  He'll have some school work when we get home or he can do it over the weekend.

No exciting plans for the weekend.  I'd like to watch a holiday movie, continue with the laundry, and deep clean the kitchen and downstairs.  I have to rewrap a gift that the cat unwrapped.  I think we might put tgether a gingerbread house too.

This is absolutely crappy morning I've had in a long time.  I got up woke Matthew and Natalie, Katie stayed home again, and ended up falling back to sleep.  Tim came down at 7:30 and I woke up and discovered they never got up.  So I woke them up again and told them the time.  They had an Oh crap! moment and jumped up.  Natalie had to catch the bus at about 7:40 and did manage to get out in time.  I got Matthew to school on time also.  Tim procedes to tell me that it's my fault they did this.  That if I hadn't gone back to sleep wrapped up in a blanket on the couch they wouldn't have.  What the heck?  I am one a a few moms who stay up and see their kids out the door!  I know so a many who never get up and see them off to school.  They are old enough to get themselves up and out the door.  Anyway, I told him to shut up and to just go to work.  I didn't need that from him first thing in the morning.  So he tells me I will if you will.  What the........  That made me blow up, he snuck out the door without me knowing after that.  I am still so pissed, I am tired of his comments and digs.  so, nice morning huh?  I am so fed up with all this.  Sometimes I wish I could kick him out or walk out the door with the kids and never come back.  I do not want to spend too much time alone with him anymore and it's sad.  I am just cleaning things today.  What else is new?  Scopping the litter box out.

Tomorrow, I am helping my mom take her dog to the vet and then later is the Christmas parade.

Sunday, who cares.  Nothing that I know it right now.  I am sure I get to referee between Tim and the kids again like I do every weekend.  He likes to stir the pot and I get to deal with the fall out.

Hugs Chelle!  Yes, it is nice to be able to get up and see them off every day, but there is no reason at their age they can't get up and function on their own in the mornings if needed.  Matthew goes off to college in 3 1/2 years and he will need to be able to do all of that on his own, I would politely/gently remind Tim that you are raising your kids to be self sufficient for when they go off on their own, not relying on you to do everything for them, that's your job as a parent.

Our refi got approved :)  I'm happy, even just that little bit off the monthly payment will help a lot.

But on a sad note- we've got another sick kitty :(  Poor Sneaky.  She was acting funny and got out this morning.  She's been kind of doing the hiding thing Jasper did right before we had to put him down.  And no- I do NOT want to put another animal down right now. Don't dare tell Kristen, finals for her start tomorrow and she's kind of stressed.  She said she wants Dean's list- I don't know if the GPA is there or not.  I told her we were pleased with what it was (3.5) and as long as she keeps all of her scholarships we're happy.

She has a concert tonight but we aren't going.  I couldn't see making the 3.5 hour trip this week and then doing it again next week. She's not going to be any fun anyways.  She's done Thursday morning, but asked it we could get her at 8am Friday (when she has to be out of the dorms) b/c she wants to see a midnight showing of The Hobbit with friends.  Even though leaving the house at 4am-ish next Friday is NOT my idea of fun, she's worked hard this semester and has the cash to see it.  Anyhow, we'll set up one of the computers tonight b/c they stream the concerts online.

Becca wants to go shopping Sat.  Since I've gotten nothing for the gift exchange dh's side wants to do (only 4 gifts and there's a $20 limit) that needs to be done.  Need to get the niece something too.

Sunday- I don't know.  Clean up for the party next Sat.  That Becca has informed us that she's playing with Chamber at the Chamber of Commerce's Citzen of the Year Banquet (I think it's them- or it's the Ruritan Club) They get paid for it- it's just that someone has to get her over there and back and we have a house full of people coming.  And I don't think Kristen will take her (the kid hates interstates)

I do have some good news for today.  Katie seems to be feeling better.  I think by Monday she will be great and whatever had her down and feeling bad will be gone.  She has done a lot of sleeping over the last two days.  Sleeping is always good for feeling bad.

On another note Tim apologized but I have been feeling really bad all day and on the verge of tears.  It's all I can do to not break down and just cry.  If I were alone I would.  I am just so tired of all this crap.  I feel worn down and I don't want the fight anymore.  I am so ready to just give up.

Hi everyone, did not get to check in yesterday.

Yesterday I went back to work after being out sick for two days. It was a half day for students. I spent the afternoon in a workshop and got out 1 1/2 hours earlier than usual (due to no break for lunch for us, following middle school schedule).  When I got home, Kayleigh and I went to the mall and food shopping.

Ian and Dh are scout camping this weekend. Today is a big cleaning day here, and I believe Kayleigh has some kind of plans with friends for tonight.

Tomorrow, Kayleigh is volunteering at the art center.  Maybe I'll get started on Christmas cards. I also want to bake some cookies (not for the holidays), finish up my wrapping, maybe take Ian out for ice cream.

Have a great weekend everyone!

It's Sunday evening and I am sitting in my recliner with my foot propped on a pillow to make it more comfortable.  I know for sure I sprained it but I am worried I might have cracked a bone.  I was painting in Katie's room this afternoon and stepped off the step stool and caught my heel on a drawer that was in the floor from her dresser and came down hard on it.  It's messed up.  I have some strange bruising across my toes and I didn't even hurt it there so it's obviously bruised inside.
