Oh, you hit the nail on the head. DH is a total neat freak. However, we are about to have our whole downstairs ripped apart as we are getting hardwood put in (the wood is being delivered here tomorrow); I figure we don't have company coming in the meanwhile, let the kid have his little "space" for now... It's cute, he put his candy claw machine in there, a book and a reading light, a stuffed animal... They grow up so fast; in a few years we'll be longing for the days when they were building forts in the living room, lol!
Thats how I feel and when Gabby was a preschool we always had her toys in the dining room, hey were picked up,but they were always there.Your dh would freak in my house,we always have Gabby's project stuff out, since she always seems to be working on some project,I try to keep it semi neat as it bothers dh more than it does me,but he can live with it.I will more it if I know someone is coming over, but if MIL drops in unannounced oh well, not that she cares because she is a pack rat.The fort sounds cute,I miss those days!
Happy Leap Day everyone!!! Same old, same old here. Laundry, struggling with finances, etc. We're trying to refinance the house but with dh's sporadic (at best) pay I can't see any bank wanting to hold the mortgage on our house.
Tonight Megan has an indoor soccer clinic and that's about it.
wait she cleans up her toys??? jackies is still laying around in the living room.....if its not projects its the remote control monster......or the magnets and blocks or the stuffed animals of webkinz she now owns a ton of them.
No toys in the living room, just project stuff, and dvd cases laying around, the webkinz are in the bedroom and trust me that isn't pretty, but at this point project mess is all I can handle
Yes they are claiming we are supposed to get less than an inch, but it has been snowing since noon and we have at least two inches out there.Gabby is supposed to take a friends bus home and I am leaving it that way, hopfully it will stop later so we can pick her up it isn't really a far drive and we do have 4 wheel drive and dh can pick her up.I am still waiting for it to switch to rain.
