Last day of school for us. Yea. Jackie is being a pain in the butt right now. But other than that nothing else to report. Half a day of school and work for me. I have to go downtown this evening jackie is leaving on her first of four weekends in a row with ex. that should be fun. She got a very bad review with the ortho this past week. So she is really having to make up for lost time. wonder how that works at ex house. other than that..... nothing much to report......have a great weekend and a nice day.
OK, now that summer is here I'm going to try to be more active on this board, I'll start with the chit chat thread!
Pretty lazy day/week here, we have a group of kids coming over to swim this afternoon, the moms will stay and hang out too, so it's always a lot of fun, we do this every Friday afternoon all summer long.
My son went roping last night and got home late, so he's still snoozing, but I need to drag him to the notary and get some papers signed, he qualified for state finals (rodeo stuff) and his photo needs to be signed/verified. He won't be happy to be woken for that, but today is my last chance!
Just watered all my plants, man it's dry here. Patio is looking good though, I also picked some basil and am making pesto in a few minutes. I might make some hummus too, for this afternoon, I have a hankering for some.
WHAT?? Just, BAM, like that, you are basically TOLD you have to take in a 17-year-old to live with you in less than a week's time?? I feel for you. And I feel sorry for the boy, too! You are really good people to take him in like this. But I don't blame you for wanting to kill your FIL!!!!
We are going to a wedding this weekend (remember me stressing about whether kids were invited or not??) so I was out this afternoon trying to find decent shirts for the boys to wear. My 8-year-old seemed agreeable to actually wearing a shirt & tie so I found him a cute green shirt at Penneys... My 12-year-old definitely would not want to wear a tie, so I went to Hollister and got him a semi-casual button-down shirt... It's a step up from what he usually wears... Of course, I couldn't really SEE the shirt until I got it home -- what is up with that Hollister store?? So dark! So LOUD! How could you work there without going completely insane???
Seeing Sex & The City tonight with my girlfriends; counting down the minutes!!!!
I need a nap. LOL 4 of us went out for lunch today and 3 of us shared a pitcher of beer. Eeek. I rarely drink beer and try to steer clear of alchol at lunch but hey, its Friday. So I am really super tired and we are having another staff party at 4:00. I'm going to have to go to bed at 7:00 tonight. I don't have much to do tonight except start icing cupcakes. I have to do all of those and the cake for Kristen's party tomorrow and start gathering up some stuff to go to the community centre tommorrow. Luckily its only 5 min. from home so if we forget something we can just run back but I'd rather not make 20 trips.

Have a nice Friday everyone!
Yippee, Friday, yay, yes, its all sarcastic.
I seriously need to vent--I apologize!
It all started last night; FIL (DH's dad) called him @ work to say that he's not happy living here in town & that he's moving.
Happy Friday!
