Ya, we have that problem, he barks orders and him and Jordyn don't get along real well as it is, so when he's not around she makes snide comments about how its funny that he makes her do this and that, but never does any of that stuff himself.
TGIF is RIGHT!! I'm really tired. Maybe because I stay up too late when DH works late, and I have to get up early to get the kids off to school. I would pay good money for a nap right about now. Instead, I just brewed some more coffee (Will be my 3rd cup today, I might add. It's a three-or-four-cupper day, LOL).
This morning I got the kids on the bus and drove in to the hospital to volunteer in the ER, helping my DH and the other doctors (and nurses) out. I've been doing this for almost a year now, about one day a week. Some weeks I skip. I'm doing it partly for experience to apply to a Master's Program for medical social work, partly because my husband is just SO HAPPY when I am there by his side, partly because I want to spend time with him since I never see him awake anymore (LOL!), and partly to do something good for others for spiritual reasons. But it is not always easy. He works in a busy, overcrowded, urban teaching hospital that is a regional trauma center to boot, so most of the time it's mayhem in there. There are so many sad cases, and a lot of blood and gore (And I am pretty squeamish, although I'm getting a bit better about that). Just the same, I'm glad I'm doing it, but it does kind of wear me out emotionally.
So now the girls are home, and I'm waiting for the boys to get off the bus around 3:30.
Like I said, I would pay good money for a nap right now, but it ain't gonna happen!
I had another great day at work; unfortunately, I got this assignment because the music teacher (of the school I worked at Tuesday) had a death in the family & left town last night.
Had kind of a crazy mixed up day at work today...One of the teachers I work with had to leave b/c her daughter was sick, and when I got to her room, nobody was there.

Trying to work on my transcription, but two wonderfully considerate lawyers are having a conversation yelling back and forth between their offices.

I have one of those in the house too, Tracy.
He'll bark orders at the girls, tho.
Hello! TGIF!!
Tonight I had a meeting that was cancelled so my family and I will find something to do. Maybe go to Chicago for shopping and to sight see.
That's all for us...Have a good weekend!
I think we have the same house.
