1. Are you named after anyone? yes anna is a family name from somewhere, and my middle name is an immediate family name
2. Are any of your children named after anyone? yes jackie is named after my moms parents and she kept the immediate family name.
3. On cold nights, what do you wear to bed? flannel nightgown and some times pj bottoms. I dont like being cold.
4. If you work outside of the home--do you have to dress up or do you wear casual clothes or a uniform? o wear casual clothes to work jeans mostly.......if i am to "dress up" which i do on occasion.......i get "teased"
5. When was the last time you swept & scrubbed your kitchen floor? I swept it last night but scrubbed about two weeks......(too long..)
LOL...it's always cold nights in this house, so I always wear the same thing--comfy sweatshirt & flannel pj pants.
4. If you work outside of the home--do you have to dress up or do you wear casual clothes or a uniform?
Quite casual. Hardly ever jeans, but slacks and shirts like polos, sweatshirts (for now...not very much), and other blouses that aren't very dressy. I also wear sneakers 'cause my back can't handle standing in dressier shoes all day (UNLESS it's a rare teacher jean day, then I go with a dressier shirt and dressier shoes because I feel like such a bum...lol...I'm weird like that!).
5. When was the last time you swept & scrubbed your kitchen floor?
Just a little aside: I'm surprised at how many of y'all don't have children named after someone. I guess it's a Cajun thing (among other cultures) to do so. If we had a second daughter, her middle name would be my MIL's first name. If we had had a son, his middle name would be Michael (Mike doesn't like his middle name and doesn't want a Junior).
But even my parents were named after someone in the family (my mom's name was Alice, her mom's name was Lise...my dad's named after his uncle).
Of course, we also were very careful in picking names (other than Alyson which is a given) to choose first names that weren't too close to the first names of others in our extended family...so that threw out names like Jayson & Jonathan & Seth...so it was very difficult to choose a boy's name. (AND THAT WAS BEFORE I WAS A TEACHER!)
