1. Will you dye Easter eggs with your family? If so, when will you do it?
Yes, Easter weekend

2. Do you participate in any Easter Egg Hunts?
yes, they do onea t school and we usually go to one that the Kiwanis holds.
If we go home to Ohio then we have one with our family.

3. Will you attend a church service on Easter Sunday? What about Good Friday?
If we go to Ohio, otherwise no.

4. Do you incorporate the "true" meaning of Easter in with the "commercialized" meaning, or do you just celebrate one over the other?
Yes, we make crescent rolls with marshmallows in the middle and when they melt in the oven it symbolizes Jesus rising from the tomb.

5. Do you currently have any Easter Candy laying around your house to eat?
Yes.

2. Do you participate in any Easter Egg Hunts?

No. We don't do eggs or egg hunts.

3. Will you attend a church service on Easter Sunday? What about Good Friday?
We will attend worship on Easter Sunday just as we do every Sunday. There is no service on Good Friday at our Church.

4. Do you incorporate the "true" meaning of Easter in with the "commercialized" meaning, or do you just celebrate one over the other?

We ONLY celebrate the true meaing of Easter. We go out of our way to avoid the commercialism and make it clear to our son that we do not approve of the commercialism of any of our faith holidays.

5. Do you currently have any Easter Candy laying around your house to eat?
No. We do not purchase Easter Candy.

1. Will you dye Easter eggs with your family? If so, when will you do it?

If we have time we will. We bought two kits this week. We'll probably do it after school one day this week. If time gets tight, next Saturday.

2. Do you participate in any Easter Egg Hunts?

We used to go to a hunt at my grandparents country club but they haven't invited us for the past few years so probably not.

3. Will you attend a church service on Easter Sunday? What about Good Friday?

Yes to both.

4. Do you incorporate the "true" meaning of Easter in with the "commercialized" meaning, or do you just celebrate one over the other?

Yes, we go to church throughout the week, talk about the religious meaning of the holiday, and we make cookies that you mix up the night before while reading the story and then leave in the oven (turned off ) overnight. You heat up the oven while you're making the cookies (divinity) and turn it off when you put them in, "seal" the oven like the tomb was sealed, and open it in the morning and they're ready. I'll be happy to post the recipe if people are interested.

5. Do you currently have any Easter Candy laying around your house to eat?

Nope! Save it all for Easter morning.

1. Will you dye Easter eggs with your family? If so, when will you do it? We will probably dye eggs, my ODD still likes to do it, and I have two lil ones, so I want to get them in the "spirit" of Easter.

2. Do you participate in any Easter Egg Hunts? this is our first year away from family and friends, so we may do one here at the house, or there are some hunts around town, may take them to those.

3. Will you attend a church service on Easter Sunday? What about Good Friday? No, we are not religious

4. Do you incorporate the "true" meaning of Easter in with the "commercialized" meaning, or do you just celebrate one over the other? See #3, we just color eggs, do the hunt for them and also for their baskets and then either go to a brunch or just stick at home

5. Do you currently have any Easter Candy laying around your house to eat? Oh yea! I have the Brach's Marshmallow Bunnies (about three packs in the freezer) and one Cadbury Egg. Oh and couple bag of Kisses. I am on Weight Watchers and have to have a sweet after every meal, and the bunnies are not bad in the cal/fat dept, and the Cadbury egg isnt that bad for a splurge, those are my fave, but cant buy too many of those, and the kisses, I can have a couple a day. LOVE Easter candy!

1. Will you dye Easter eggs with your family? If so, when will you do it?
YES! My kids have been asking when...probably not until next Thursday or so.

2. Do you participate in any Easter Egg Hunts?
Depends...we may try to organize one for our neighbors. They all have little kids. Hannah would love to do that!

3. Will you attend a church service on Easter Sunday? What about Good Friday?
YES. Probably not on GOod Friday, but Hannah is an altar server for mass on Holy Thursday, so we will go then.

4. Do you incorporate the "true" meaning of Easter in with the "commercialized" meaning, or do you just celebrate one over the other?
BOTH.

5. Do you currently have any Easter Candy laying around your house to eat?

I couldn't help it..I opened the jelly beans. (Starburst brand are the BEST!) The rest is in the pantry for Easter Morning.
