I made a fool out of myself in front of my boss, sometimes I just talk & afterwards I realize that what I said was incorrect or just plain STUPID....................oh well, I'd love to forget about it!!!!!! :)

I am going to try to FORGET ABOUT the fact that Dh was home yesterday and Emily had a home VB game--he hasn't been able to come to a game in 3 weeks due to his travel schedule and yesterday he got wrapped up in the office and forgot--ended up coming late and missed the first match--she started and did great---I was so hot I just started talking to him this morning.

Wednesday night after practice Evan pulled a small stunt in the locker room - a joke on a friend. His friend didn't like it and told the coach. Now Evan can't change in the locker room for two practices. Yesterday after school he said he had a headache and a backache and felt like he was coming down with something. We gave him some Motrin and had him go to bed a little early. Some how this morning he was fine. Hmmmm. Not sure if this was real or he was faking it so he didn't have to go to practice last night.

Megan got nailed for talking too much in class Wednesday and I'm sure she won't get a very good weekly report this week 'cause of that, and she forgot her Language Arts portfolio yesterday and I had to take it to school for her. pffffffttttt. that's my attempt at a raspberry.

I'm hoping that the great weekend I've got comping up and the prospect of a new week will make next week better. :)

To the 4th graders from Hades who made my subbing assignment a living nightmare yesterday & today---

FUHGEDDABOUTIT

It was bad enough the drive over there was 30-45 minutes long each morning--dealing with a dirty classroom & kids who don't really care to be in school (and can't even read on their grade level!) just made things worse!

It has been a terrible week. My Grandma passed away Monday morning. Wed was the funeral, YDD had a very difficult time.

On a different note YDD has always been an A/B student earning mostly B's. She has never had a C in her life. I know she is trying this year but somehow she has become a C student at best even earning one D and one R so for this term. I know she is going to be crushed when report cards come home. We are not sure what to do about it or why this is happening. Any thoughts?
