However, it seems like a lot are calling from cell phones so I don't know who it is and I answer it. Then I listen for about a minute, and then tell them I'm not interested.

Not one specifically, but a lot of local charities call... I gave once, and they call counting on me again.

We are on the do not call list, so it's mostly "political calls" these days. Not sure what that means, but it's as far as I let them get. Before the do not call list it was always morgage companies.

His friends call a lot asking for advice on how to do something or asking him to improve their score/money for them. Or whatever it is that they do on Rune Scape. (My son is a Rune Scape junkie)

LOL, a whopping $3.00. I prefer cash over credit or debit...I have much more control over it.
1) We only have cell phones so luckily we don't have them calling...however we DO have people knocking on our door almost daily trying to sell stuff. I usually just either say "No thanks" or don't even open the door if I know they're salesmen.
2) As above...the favorite one that comes by is the guy selling meat out of the back of his truck! He's very argumentative so I've started telling him "We're Vegtarians" and he stands there shocked without a comeback! HAH!!!!
3)My tween/teens both have their own cellphones (we don't have a home phone) so they are allowed to chat with their friends and family (most who live in other states). My daughter is much more chatty on the phone than my son is!
4)My plate is a regular issue, Texas plate. We live in Colorado so they don't know Texas requires front plates...we have Marine Corps Insignia plates on the front of our cars!
5)I'm down to pennies in my wallet! LOL! I very seldom carry cash and when I do I always seem to owe some kid an allowance or something! My debit card and I are best friends!!!!
