work and school during the day. The girls are off to the african lion safari tonight for the weekend with their guide/pathfinder groups. It should be a blast.
Let's see, I have to get these kids out of bed! LOL Then we have to go back to the DMV for my son's ID card (I had the wrong SSN yesterday!!), then we may hang out at the pool for a while (really need to finish the laundry though), and tonight we are having a Cosmic Bowling birthday party for my son. His best friend stayed the night last night and is staying again tonight.
Not too much today. Supposed to be a hot one here and I'll have to walk out and move my car. I got a ticket yesterday. :-( But that likely means they won't come back to that street for awhile. LOL I should have left it on my windshield. They gave me the ticket at 4:00 and I got to my car at 4:45. ARGGHHH!!! Oh well, I suppose $30 for 6 weeks of parking is not bad. This morning on my walk from my car I cross two bridges and there has been a flock of Canada geese who live on this little island between the bridges. This morning two sets of parents were out swimming with their babies. So cute. They weren't tiny tiny, but school-age perhaps. LOL So a pleasant start to the morning.
Kristen is going to her Dad's tonight. He just got home Wed. from Tokyo and he always buys her all kinds of weird candies and chocolate bars and they taste test them all. He said he has two very weird flavours of KitKat so I'm curious to know what that is. Last year he bought green tea which didn't really do it for me. So no plans tonight. Since its going to be hot, likely not moving much, finishing my laundry and tidying a bit. We have severe thunderstorm warnings here for this afternoon so we'll see if anything comes of it.
Hope Dakota has a blast at his party. Hannah's youth group goes cosmic bowling once a year. They do all sorts of fun things. I wanta join the youth group. :)
LOL!! Some of our youth are going to Mexico Monday on a missions trip! My ds is going with them. I am so proud of him, but a little jealous too! hehehe
There is a little family of ducks that live where Hannah plays her softball games. They aren't fearful at all. They come up to us to get peanuts and junk food. :)
