Hello! Long time since I've been on here!

I have put something under "Activities & Education," that I need opinions on.

Hope all is well with everyone!

They are doing well Tracy! Busy as always, ha! DH started working nights this week and it is so nice to have an extra hand at night! He missed a lot of Kenzie's high school swim season and started missing a lot of Teagen's hockey too. Didn't want that to happen anymore, so he switched. Now I just need to decrease my hours, so he can sleep!

Kenzie swam another Speed Section cut last weekend; this time in the 200 backstroke! So now we can go to Wisconsin in March and Iowa in July for Central Zone Speedos! She has Central Zones times and we have been hearing the "Mega Zone" rumors! But at any rate we have a lot of traveling to do this summer for her.

Teagen is enjoying hockey; although the season is getting the best of her. We have a very small team (only enough for two lines) and they don't practice as much defense as they should! For example, last night she took 40 shots on goal and their goalie only took 6! So it was a hard game and they lost! I just want it to be over. Teagen did make Selects for her age group and also a AAA tournament team, so something to look forward to. She just loves this sport and is so thankful she is a goalie and not a skater (even told me this morning, "I only have to worry about concussions, not getting slammed into the board and breaking anything)! For those of you that are from MN, two hockey players were recently injured; one with a broken neck and paralyzed! So it's a bit on the mind right now for her.

Jax is doing amazing! He's walking all over the place and just too cute. He's growing too fast of course!

I have catching up to do on everyone.

I am in the middle of an assignment for a teacher that works at two schools, just finished her morning classes and am waiting for her afternoon ones to start in an hour. I had no idea this was what I would be walking into this morning. Not bad though cause her classes are pull outs for reading and were small groups this morning. After school I need to run DS for a haircut and then maybe a quick trip to Costco. DS has a dance tonite. Tomorrow DS has practice, DD has a dance class and needs a haircut. DH has a work meeting in the afternoon. DS has a service project Saturday night (clean-up after a church event). Sunday DS has confirmation and a potluck I need to make something for, thinking about a big Mac and cheese and using part of it for dinner tomorrow night. Otherwise just a homework/catch up day for us.

It's great to see you again! Glad swimming is going so well for Kenzie! How is she getting along with her teammates? I know there were some issues earlier. From your post in Activities & Education it sounds lmike she is quite an impressive young lady!

Sounds like Teagan has her hands full on the ice but has a wonderful attitude about it. Good luck to her in the upcoming tournaments and Selects!

Glad to hear Jax is doing so well!

You are an amazing parent. Giving each of your kids what they need to do well is a challenge that you are excelling at with grace and strength.

Evan's high school season is winding down. They've got one or two big meets left and then conference and that's it. Megan has a few state cuts and is .3 secs off a Central Zone cut in 50 back. If she doesn't make it during short course, she'll get it during long course. It's too bad MN and IL aren't in the same Central Zone meet this summer. It would be fun to meet. We get to go to WI. The nice thing is it's only 45 minutes from us so the travel will be SUPER easy, she'll be able to sleep in her own bed, and eat her usual food, etc.

Great to see you again!
