My kids have a 4 1/2 day weekend!!! Ds has a football game on Saturday. Dd has to work. She finishes up her tennis season this week as well. We are going to check out a local college, her plan B school on Monday. We are going to the Field Musem in Chicago on Tuesday, we are members, so the kids will bring some friends.

One last ultra-crazy run around weekend. Well, maybe the second to last for awhile. I'm pulling Megan out of school today to ride in a horse show near my parents. It's only gym and she does so much swimming and riding that the exercise is not going to be missed. She also knows that I'm only doing this once. After the show tonight we'll head to my parents for the night. Tomorrow morning she has a lesson and then we'll head home. Meanwhile back at the ranch, Dh and ds are having a guy's weekend. Maybe some Scout stuff to do on Sunday. Church too.

The house is a disaster so I'm hoping we'll all pitch in and get it cleaned up Sunday afternoon.

Dinneer tonight is fast food and Saturday is tacos, and Sunday is probably pizza. Not the most nutritious, but it fits the emery level and the budget.

Crazy day already. Been to daycare, Kung Fu, breakfast, pediatrician, shopping, and now back to the house to do DH's invoicing, pack for the beach, dinner, then to jordyn's football game.

Tomorrow pick up the rental car, activate my mom's new cell phone then head to the beach. My dad and jordyn will come down after her cheer practice. We'll come home on Monday fro the beach.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I guess it's a fairly quiet one for us too. Hockey tryouts are still ongoing and hoping that today is the last one. They didn't need more than 2 last year and this year they have scheduled 4! Teagen is beyond excited to get to her tryout and find out who is going to be on what team. She was on the A team last year and so we anticipate the same, but we aren't counting our chickens before they are hatched either.

I dropped Kenzie off at her practice this morning; it is early and long today. They are swimming 101-100's. Which should be a cake walk for her. Those who complete all 101, get a breakfast at Bakers Square paid for by the coach and a shirt that says they completed it at the Banquet. She's loves Bakers Square and can't wait to get there and chow down. Watch, she won't make it...I would be surprised if she didn't.

Exciting thing is that I think Kenzie has her "procrastination" under control when it comes to homework. I was worried at the beginning of the quarter (since the teachers are cracking down now) and here we are mid way through first quarter and all A's are on the website...I've been telling her for years, if only you would turn in your homework on time. Hoping this continues, she's so proud of herself though and so I think she won't slip up now. I think it gives her a very good feeling!

Other than the practice and tryout today, it's a quiet weekend. I'm hoping to clean the kitchen, but that will depend on what Jax allows me to do. It's DH's weekend to work, so not much help from him; which is understandable.

Have a good one!
