Good morning. It rained for a brief amount of time on the way in this morning!! So excited!! I'm hoping its a relatively quiet weekend, but we'll see. I have an 11:30 telephone conference today. Jordyn has an out of town football game tonight. I Have a bunch of chores and cleaning to do this weekend, and taking Emma out to buy a birthday gift for her BFF at daycare's birthday party next weekend.

Jordyn has cheer from 10-12 tomorrow, then she's working a birthday party afterwards, then she's going to a surprise birthday party for a guy friend from school. Sunday is catch up on sleep and homework day for her. She's starting to get her tension headaches again and she's exhausted, sigh...

DH is excited to watch all the football games on the new flat screen tv he bought. So other than running any calls he gets, I don't see him moving from the couch much this weekend.

Have a great one!

Saturday DD has dance and drama. I'll probably go into work just to sort out some boxes of papers - what to keep, what to move, what to shred.

Sunday DD has a church service for Girl Guides so I'll go too and then there's our Community Club in the afternoon

Busy weekend here. Dh is going to Aikido tonight, Evan is headed to the home football game, and Megan and I will be at home hanging out. Tomorrow Megan and I head up to my parents for a riding lesson on Saturday and then I have a bridal shower to go to for my cousin's fiance. My mom is having one or two relatives over for dinner afterwards and then we'll head home. Meanwhile, dh and Evan will be tidying up the house and getting ready for Evan's friend to spend the night Sunday and Monday. One of his parents is out of the country taking care of financial issues and the other is going away on business. Not too thrilled about having the kid here but his parents were in a bind and had nowhere else for him to go. This kid brings out the worst in Evan and doesn't treat Megan well at all. I'm hoping that she'll be out of the house enough that it won't be an issue. *crossing fingers* I have to feed this kid too... Knowing his parents, he won't have money for lunch at school either day and he'll eat a ton at breakfast and dinner. I should give them the benefit of the doubt but...

Hi everyone, hope you had a good day. It was a super busy workday, but it seems like they all are now.

Busy weekend. We had a garage sale with the in-laws Fri.. and Sat. It wore me out. We made close to $400 once we subtracted our share of the ad, donuts, and lunches. Zeph was thrilled because he made $135- and $100 of that was in sales of his stuff. The $25 was money I paid him for working the sale-mostly loading and unloading the van and setting up tables and putting them away after. We carted over 5 loads in the van to sell and I had 3 shopping bags and an easel to cart back home. The bags are full of clothes and I will drop those off at Goodwill later this week.

We went straight to the pet store for DS to buy some floating nursery plants. He's ready to release the fry. He also bought a snail for his tank. After looking at his mollys I think they are both females. I am considering buying a second tank for the fry only. In another month the ones we have will be ready to go to new homes.

This was the first time I am feeling overwhelmed with the idea of moving. The inlaws have so much stuff! I just don't see how they will empty the house by next year. Happily much of our furniture went. We are now without a coffee table, end table or side table or island stools. My thought was to put them in the sale and if they sell, we'll make due. The house look odd without.

Friday Zeph had gym and swim for 2.5 hours. Saturday morning he started swim team. Saturday evening he and DH went to the college for a sky observation lecture and viewing. They had 6 reflecting telescopes set up and DH said most of the group cleared out after 30 minutes of viewing. He and DS stayed until the end.

Today we need to grocery shop. I have laundry to catch up on. I think we will watch October Sky to wrap our space unit for science.
