I am so excited. I found a movie that has been Matthew's favorite movie since he was a preschooler in DVD last night and it was less then $6 so I ordered it for him for Christmas. We have it on VHS and I always meant to get it in DVD. I can't wait to give it to him. He still loves this movie. I use to really like watching it too, I'll admit it. LOL It's "The Iron Giant".

Checking in a little late. DD,DS,and DH are all slck so they will be resting and getting well this weekend. The weather is supposed to be very wet, I will be getting the house back in order and doing laundry. Spending Thanksgiving at the in-laws has really put me behind so tomorrow I will be in catch up mode. I would also like to get the tree up. The outside lights will have to wait if this rain keeps up. Sunday DS has a Boy Scout event, I have to work a fundraiser at DD's school in the morning. We have a dinner party in the evening, we will skip it if DH us not feeling up to it. Kids both have finals to study for also.

Hi everyone. I sure was glad to see Friday this week!  Hope you all have a fun/relaxing weekend planned.

Ian had a regular school day and no other plans.  Kayleigh had school, then went to Starbucks with a friend.  At work, it was a half day for students so I spent the afternoon helping out in the library.  After work , I went food shopping. Tonight, I have book club, yay!

Tomorrow, Kayleigh will be volunteering at the town's annual Holiday on the Lake celebration - she usually does face painting for 4H and then rides their float during the parade. I don't know if Dh plans on us going with Ian. I'm planning on a cleaning day.

Sunday, Ian has a 4H meeting, Kayleigh is volunteering at the HS's Kids Day and is bringing Ian home a surprise - 2 guinea pigs that we are rescuing.  Dan and I are going to see Life of Pi, and I might be meeting a friend for coffee/tea.

Natalie woke up running the minute she hit the floor.  She stayed in bed till after 7 and still needed to flat iron her hair.  Didn't help she has to add time in to put the boot on her foot.  Takes a bit of time with all the straps and then pump it to make it more comfortable.  I got them all off to school and took a nap.  My mom is staying here a few days so I can help her with her finger and changing the dressing.  She keeps sleeping.  I need to start my house cleaning and work on getting the rest of the Christmas stuff put out and the empty boxes put away.  Nothing going on tonight.  Tim will be taking the kids birthday shopping for me either tonight or tomorrow.  I am taking Katie out this weekend for some mom time.  She has been asking for it and her and I don't get a lot of alone time cause I am alwasy needing to take Nat somehwere or help Matthew with something.  She needs my undivided attention.  I may take her tonight if Tim doesn't got shopping.

That actually gives me an idea Heather.  I normally give DH tickets to the MSU/UT game, it rotates every year, once in Michigan, once in Texas, but they skipped last year and this year they are in Michigan.  DH said last night he's going with us to MIchigan now, so I will look into tickets to see if we'll have made it into town or not by then.  Other than that, yes, mine is very hard to shop for.  I bought him a Jesse Ventura book, he's all into conspiracy theories so...  and then I want to buy him a new grill, ours is on its last leg, and I need to order him a paraband, survival bracelet.  He won't wear it, but he'll keep it either in his work truck or with his skydiving equipment.  Other than that, i am fresh out of ideas also.  His birthday is also Jan. 11 and I am the worst at figuring out a birthday gift also!

Well, our weekend plans may change now, we'll have to see.  Today, not much, just got back from Starbucks with co-workers.  I have a project I am working on and a quick errand and gas at lunch time.  Tonight, I have a chiropractor appt. after work.  Jordyn had a pep rally this morning, team dinner tonight, and then she's working the photography club booth at the christmas stroll.

Tomorrow, varsity football playoff game at 2:00.

This is where things might change.  Jordyn rolled her ankle pretty severely last night at work.  Its swollen pretty significantly and DH said its definitely sprained.  She iced and elevated it last night, but it was still swollen today.  I wrote a note for her to do limited anything at the pep rally and to ice it during cheer class.  She texted and said its "racket ball sized, cankle-ish, it hurts but I can semi walk".  She has a cheer competition Sunday, I told her if its not getting better I don't think she can compete.  She just texted and said she will probably just build stunts, not tumble.  I hope its not worse, but if an urgent care visit is necessary this weekend, that's what we'll do...
