Good morning ladies, 11 days til Christmas, 7 days til Winter Solstice, and apparently I missed the start of Hanukkah, sorry about that! What are in your plans for this weekend? When are the kids out of school?

Congrats to DS Wendy, and its nice to "see" you Good luck on finals and your essay!!
DH's mother is coming up here for Christmas. DH is flying down on Tuesday, then they will fly back up here on Wednesday. Hopefully they will be here for the Christmas concert at the school Wednesday evening. Neither of the kids is in choir anymore, due to a change in choir director, but DS is still in band (nominated for Honor Band on the baritone!!), and I would like MIL to see him in action.
Kristen found her iPod. She has no idea where it was.
Her purse was laying open on the floor- and she was doing a load of laundry. All of a sudden I hear 'MY IPOD!!!!!!!!!!!" I think it had been in her purse for the last 3 weeks........
Trying to get ready for a party tonight. We are NOT hosting next year.
My mom comes tomorrow for 11 days. If there's a positive in this- at least it forced us to clean the house up for her. How long it will stay that way? I don't know.

That whole situation saddens and makes me mad too.
I think about the kids. And the young man.
If the news reports are right- he's only a year older than Kristen :(

money wise they don't keep track. Not sure they keep track number wise. I do, I make sure they have the same number just in case they do keep track. I just don't want that to be an issue and a reason to ruin a really nice day. None of them have ever said anything about the number of gifts each get so I honestly really don't know. Now when it comes to stockings, no counting or keeping it even. I just try to fill them up with simple stuff useful of not. Little bit of this and that.
Basically, I did Heather. I need to go pick up a few I remembered I was getting for him and I found some yesterday. Now Tim and my mom. I need to make sure I have enough for Matthew though.
