Got out the door a bit late this morning, Madison came in around 2:30 after having an accident in bed, its getting better, I think I only had to wash her bed twice this week... then jordyn was up early doing her hair for a pep rally this morning, she was getting a shutting pain in her lower back/hip area and felt nausous, lovely, just the day for that!  They have a pep rally and then breakfast this morning, school, dinner tonight and straight to the football game.  Its parents' night and they have a pre-game ceremony.  I have one meeting as of right now, I am working through lunch (which I actually remembered to bring with me!), leave at 4:00, pick up the little girls, stop at home to change, drop the little girls off at the YMCA parent's night out, and meet Jordyn at the game at 6:30.  I may be able to stay and watch part of the first quarter, but I have to pick up the kids at the Y by 8, so we'll see.  I will probably just take them home after that and go to bed.

As for the rest of the weekend, laundry and cleaning mostly.  I told Emma we would get to the pool and I need to work on my meal menu for next week.  Jordyn has work from 1-4 on Saturday and that's all I know of as of right now.  Hoping DH Is home a bit to help out with household stuff, we need to sit down and do more invoicing and pay bills and regular season football starts back up Sunday, so I will be firmly planted on my couch to watch the game at noon.

Have a great one!

Sometime over the next 3 days I need to mow, go to the libray, bring over the rest of the clothes from the old house, go to the post office, and mop the kitchen/bathroom.  I would like to watch Castaway with Zeph start packing, play Nerf with him, and finish my book.

Medium busy weekend. Today after school I'm taking Megan to the first in a series of riding shows. Tonight she's riding intermediate dressage for the first time. Not super thrilled with the horse she's riding but oh well. We'll stay overe night at my parents and she has a riding lesson tomorrow afternoon and then we'll come home. Usually time at my parents is a welcome distraction and quite happy. Not so sure about this weekend. My dad's surgery is really weighing heavily on both of my parents so the atmosphere is quite different.

I'm leaving the boys to their own devices. They can feed themselves and get to and from wherever they need to without me. Frankly, I'm frustrated with both of them right now so I'm not going to expend my energy there. All Evan does is grouch and yell at me. Dh is not happy with me when I raise my voice as a result of being spoken to disrespectfully and feels a neutral reminder is all that's necessary. Ummmm, not effective and I'm getting yelled at daily. He wants peace in the house. Excuse me but it's not my fault the kid throws a fit (literally) every time he's asked to do something he doesn't feel like doing and expects unlimited money and a chauffeur service at his disposal. Yes I overreact sometimes but I'm getting so frustrated it's becoming difficult not to.

Going to head to the grocery store later and fold laundry. Not motivated at all. Can you fire your family? Just asking...

Going over to school to pick up Becca.  She wants to go try for her permit again.  She could have on Tuesday, I didn't think asking for an early dismissal the first day of school was such a great idea.  She could have gone in late this morning (didn't want to move) but she loves Drama- that's her first bell.   I said next week, but she said they're already starting range and she wants to do range at school.  I just hope we get there in time for her to take a test, the last time it was over 2 hours waiting at the DMV

She's got the same teacher as Kristen has.  He has an "attitude".  SIGH.  I don't think he likes teaching teenagers how to drive.  This is the one who failed Kristen on range for almost hitting a school bus- and then she didn't want to touch a car for 6 months after that incident.  Personally I wish she'd just do the classroom part at school, then we can do the driving part through a private school.  That's $25 cheaper anyways, and they pick her up/ drop her off at school.

Kristen's being a pain b/c she asked for a piece of music (there's 4 movements to Vivaldi's 4 seasons and I got the wrong one- would have helped if she'd TOLD me which one she needed) and refuses to go to the music shop IN LYNCHBURG.  At the rate we're going- maybe she'll just have to wait until we see her in 2 weeks.  Not to mention I've already spent $16 between 2 packages............

Nothing on jobs.  I am so frustrated.  Then my mom calls- she wants me to visit her in Oct.  She'd even pay for the plane ticket.  I think she's lonesome and wants company.  The week she wants me to come is also the week that DH is going to Annapolis MD and he wants me to go there for a few days (I dunno- can I trust my almost 16 year old alone in the house for 3 days?)

Ami, do you think being gone for a day or two and having DH have to deal with Evan's constant demands may make him a little more sympathetic to what you are feeling?

I had breakfast with my mom this morning.  We came back to my house and we hung out until Matthew's Dr'sappointment.  Bought him lunch after since he missed it at school and dropped him back at school.  Came back home and my mom worked on her quilting and I took a nap.  I do not feel 100% today at all.  It started yesterday and it's just worse.

Girls came in fighting and have been ever since.  Natalie is being awful, she is also having her period.  There is a definite link here.  I don't exactly want to be around her at all, she cannot control her mouth and has bee saying some really hurtful things.  I hate it when she is like this.

Tonight is volleyball practice.  Matthew is going to the football game tonight.  A friends mom is picking him up and I will pick them up afterwards.  Natalie is mad cause she wants to go and it's too late.  Tickets our HS was allotted are sold out.  Lines at the stadium are going to be HUGE and we won't be getting there until after the game starts because of VB practice.

Saturday we have two VB games.  I think that is our have to on Saturday.  Sunday, church and out to lunch.

Hi everyone. It was a tiring Friday at work. The kids had regular school days.

After school, Ian and Dh left on the scout father/son canoe weekend.

Kayleigh and I had Chinese food and are just vegging out tonight.

Tomorrow morning, she is taking the ACT for the final time. I'll be home giving the house a good cleaning.  In the afternoon, I'm going for a much needed haircut and then Kayleigh is having a couple of friends over for dinner

Sunday, Kayleigh and I are going to the mall to do some clothes shopping

Maybe but not likely. He and I have a huge difference of opinion about what is acceptable and what's not. Dh's MO When I'm gone is to let Evan do his own thing and go to Aikido class for hours. Last time I was gone Evan was at a friend's until 11, found his own way home, and dh came home at 2 a.m. from a housewarming party. In his defense, he doesn't go to parties more than 3-4 times a year but still... He thinks nothing of leaving the kids alone for hours on end. Yes they are 12 & 15 but they do need to someone around to check in with.

Heaven help me- Becca got her permit.  I took her to make circles in the church parking lot.  "THIS IS SO COOL".  LOL.  Then I told her that eventually she has to get out onto the road with other cars.  "Do I have to"?  LOLOLOL.  So far she seems so much more relaxed than Kristen was.

On the way back from the DMV- she called into a local radio station and won tickets to Need To Breathe for next Friday.  Told her she has to either find someone to go with- or she's going to have to get another ticket for one of us.  I am NOT dropping her off at a concert in downtown Norfolk.  Not at age 15.

She said "Best. Day.  Ever".  LOLOL.

{{hugs}} Ami.  I agree- I don't think you're being unreasonable at all.  Leaving Evan to find a way home at 11 pm?   I'd be ticked too.
