I have a busy day.  Emma's last kung fu belt ceremony is at 10, so I am going to take an early lunch to go watch that, then be back for a meeting at 11 and another meeting at 2:00.  DH mentioned late last night going out with one of my co-workers and her husband tonight for drinks, the husband and DH are friends, but its too late to get a babysitter and Jordyn will be at the football game tonight.  Jordyn stayed the night at a friend's last night.  She is leaving there and heading to a hair appt. at 11:00 to get her bottom hair re-bleached.  Then she has to meet the cheerleaders to sit together at the scrimmage football game at 6:30 tonight.

As for the weekend, Jordyn has to work tomorrow 1-3 and I think she may be doing stunting videos for the college recruiter at open gym after that, but I'm not for sure.  I have a hair appt. scheduled for the little girls to get their hair cut at 2:00 tomorrow, and I was hoping to get to the pool and the farmer's market, so we'll see.  DH mentioned a 4 person skydive or something tomorrow as well as poker with the guys tomorrow night.

Sunday Jordyn is working a birthday party at the gym in the afternoon.  I am hoping just to relax, clean the house and prep for the first day of school.  I am doing a family dinner Sunday evening for back to school, Jordyn's favorit sausage pasta.

Have a great weekend!

Morning everyone! Got Evan off to his second day of school without much to do. Timing was much better this morning. Megan is still sleeping. :smileyhappy:

Not much planned for today. Finish laundry, do some reading, maybe a trip to the grocery store. I should do some cleaning and maybe I'll feel motivated as the morning moves on. Tonight dh is going to Aikido and it's test night (he's not testing) so he'll be hanging out at the party afterwards so it's just the three of us. It's $5 pizza night at the grocery store so guess what dinner is. :smileyhappy:

Not much going on this weekend except cleaning bedrooms and making us everyone has everything they need for back to school. I think Megan needs a few odds and ends. I'm hoping to get everyone to church on Sunday but I've been getting resistance from dh and the kids lately so who knows. I may just say I'm going and anyone that wants to come with me is welcome.

Hi everyone, TGIF.  We are heading off this afternoon for a weekend of camping, back Monday afternoon. I'm looking forward to the relaxation, and hope the weather is good for the pool and lake there.  Ian is hoping to go fishing.  Of course, both teens' primary concern is whether or not the campground has WiFi because MS and HS schedules are posted this afternoon.

Have a great weekend everyone, see you next week

Moving moving and more moving!  The dog and I took a sunrise walk this morning and then I loaded the car with more kitchen stuff and master closet stuff and odds and ends.  I'm waiting on the phone company to call so I can head over and get the whatever installed to have us internet ready.   Zeph will do some school over at the new place while I unpack, do some laundry and continue to work on the kitchen.  They left it pretty dirty-yuck!  DH flies home sometime this afternoon.  Tongiht we have a Science Olympaid paretn meeting hweile the kids have a meet and greet.  I've volunteered DH and I as assistant academic coaches so I am kind of curious what exactly that means!

Saturday Zeph has his last class at Fermi Lab.  Then he is a certified volunteer that they can call on to help at public events.  I hope DH is taking the dog and giving him a long hike while Zeph is in class.  I'll be doing moving stuff.  Planning on DH getting the laptops and our new wifi set up as well as the tv and the Wii.  No plans Sunday other than cleaning the garage and doing some minor work in the new yard.  Probably a trip to Home Depot in there somewhere.

Thanks we ar home on a break. I'm exhausted, but the kitchen is clean and we accomplished a lot so far. DH should be home in an hour and we'll start on round two.

Happy weekend to all and hope the camping, packing/unpacking and activities are going well.

Teagen's tournament is going alright. The team was cocky yesterday and mistook them for another team and thought it would be a hands down win. We only beat them 3-2 last time, not 7-1 like they thought. So we lost 6-1. Nothing like watching your own players fight over the puck and passing to the opposing team. Teagen took 55 shots in goal with 49 saves. The other goalie played today for a win (this team we beat 8-4 previously) with 16 shots on goal and a 6-1 score. T is doing okay; she gets mad that she gets the harder games and this girl ends up looking like a star with the easier games, but whatever. Teagen has been asked to tryout for 2 more teams and so we may explore that option.

K picked up her schedule and were pleased that she made advanced English and Honors Physical Science. She also was placed in the advanced track for social studies. We talked to the dean about taking her out of the Early College program and they felt it would be better for her to go as it will help her learn tips on how to study and advancing her in math and all her other subjects too. She really needs a boost in math, she struggles with it. Got mad at her tomight, she went over to a junior swimmers house, who has a cousin living with her that is K's age and it ended up being a sleepover. We agreed no sleepovers when there is practice the next morning. She better get up and not be whiny tomorrow! Guess I don't have to deal with it until later.

T has a games tomorrow and are against two very strong Manitoba teams. She is trying hard to focus on the positive. Her coach will be there tomorrow; unlike the last two games.

We may end up with an early game on Sunday and then that will be it! T has a goalie practice to attend for the association; it is to help the younger players. Should be fun.

Hopefully I will get our wireless router figured out this weekend. It's driving me crazy. It will work, then I'll go upstairs and it is gone...so I continue looking for a reason it won't work.

Have a good weekend!!!
