Hi all, checking in a day late.

Regular work day for me yesterday, found out we are getting a new student in our room, probably in early Feb, behavioral problems.  After work, went food shopping. The kids had regular school days and Kayleigh had rehearsal after school

Today, Kayleigh is studying.  I cleaned in the morning, then ran errands with Ian and took him to lunch at Subway. NOw we are taking down the tree and putting away our decorations.

Tomorrow is a free day for me, yay.  I will putter around, do some reading, etc.  Ian has a meeting pretty much all afternoon with his scout patrol to get ready for the Klondike

Not sure what my deal is.  I do not have it together lately.  So I am late doing this.  I was feeling like crap this morning and ended up sleeping after i got the kids off to school.  I took care of some house stuff and then picked the girls up from school later.  Found out they have a winter formal a week from today.  Wish we had known sooner about it.  The girls are not sure they want to go.  They need to make up their minds cause we need to do some dress shopping if they do.  They need to chat with friends and make up their minds.  Hopefully they can find a friend to go with and we can do a pick up drop off plan and they will definitely have a friend for sure at the dance.  Later this evening I was feeling bad again and ended up falling asleep while watching a movie with Tim.  I felt bad, I woke up later and he was gone and the movie was almost over.

I made breakfast for dinner.  So good!

Tomorrow I am hoping it will warm up enough to get outside and get the rest of the christmas decor down.  I really wanted to go see the Broadway Theater League of Westside Story but doesn't look like like that will happen.

Sunday, hmmm.....not sure what the plans are.  Maybe I will work in Natalie's room to get the painting done for her.

Today has gotten off to a slow start so I need to pick up th e pace a bit for the rest of the day. Going to start by getting our bedroom under control, then the bathrooms. DS is getting a sore throat so I made him a bowl of soup. He is doing some Boy Scout merit badge stuff and trying to get his eagle paperwork complete. DD is finishing a paper for her English Class. The weekend is pretty low key, kids have practices on Saturday and DS has a leader meeting on Sunday for Boy Scouts. DD needs to get a birthday gift for her best friend also, at this point I think we will just pick up a gift card for Forever 21.

I have had a cough and congestion most of the week. I took the kids to school and came home and have slept all day. I am going to watch one tv show before I go to the store, then to pick up the kids. I promised them a "camp out" in the living room tonight, so I need to get the Christmas tree taken down tonight hopefully first. We are going to have homemade pizza tonight and I am going to make the girls brownies for dessert. Jordyn worked a tumble camp today and starts her kitten sitting job today for the next week. Not a whole lot the rest of the weekend. Emma has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon to attend, luckily Madison is able to attend also. Our dryer is broke, so I need to get to the laundromat this weekend. DH won't be home til at least Sunday so even if he knows how to fix it (hoping not so I can get a new one), I know he won't be able to get the parts til Monday. I need to get at least a little laundry done this weekend, we are just about out of clean towels also. I am in a baking mood, so I am doing a few new recipes this weekend to try. Nothing else planned that I can think of. Jordyn has to work and is kitten sitting, so won't be home most of the weekend. Have a great one.

Today is out last quiet day before this month's activities begin.  He's taking a computer class series at the Microsoft store, a woodcarving class, is in 2 bowling leagues, Lit Group, along with 3 theater events and 2 science field trips this month.  I'm tired just thinking about it!  I expect to be more productive around the house, since there will be less time here.  When I have hours of time I manage to get very little done- no sense of urgency, but with a tighter schedule, I'll use the pockets of time I have.

Today I am taking it easy.  I've got laundry and the kitchen to clean.  DH is taking the dogs to the pet sitters for the night and running to the bank for me.  Zeph is working on a new Lego set and will be starting school soon.  Tonight DH and I are going to see William Shatner's one man show and out to dinner.  Z is looking forward to the older brother of a friend to coming over and play Wii and such while we're gone- a babysitter, but won't seem like it. We did figure out allowance which starts today.  I wound up asking Z to decide on percentages to go to charity, long term saving, short term savings, and on hand spending money and gave him time to run the numbers.   He did a good job dividing it up.

Saturday morning I'll have to myself while DH takes Z to bowling leage.  I'll work around the house, grocery shop, and pick up the pups.  Sunday Z is competing in the first stage of the National Geography Bee.  He really wants to come in 1st or 2nd.  Last year it was 3rd. I feel he was better prepared last year.   We'll see how it pans out.  That should take up agood chunk of the day.
