We had a rainy morning.  All the kids got off alright.  Matthew had a sore throat.  Just as he was getting better he starts all over again.  Grief!  Nothing going today.  I may run to the store and grab a few things I wasn't able to get.  Making hamburgers for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow, Hmmm......now sure.  Tim is determined to make the kids work all day or make them go outside.  Except we are suppose to get more rain I think.

Sunday, nothing that I know of right now.  I may run away so I don't have to deal with Tim getting mad at the kids and them coming to me to complain about Tim.

Heading off to work in a few minutes. DD went back to school today but I don't think she is going to theatre after, she says she still has a headache, at least there is no more fever. After work I need to run to Costco for a few things. nothing much going on tonight. Tomorrow DS has a service project for Boy Scouts. depending on the weather, DH supposed to be headed to Washinton DC for work. Sunday is just a catch-up day for homework and chores. Hopa everyone has a good weekend, and those in the storms path stay safe.

The hot water heater- that we just gave this installer a whole lot of money- only gives hot water when the heat's on.  Found that out yesterday.  SIGH.  He said he'd send someone out today to fix it, but I have no clue when.  It's an easy fix- would take about an hour.

Becca's having kids over.  I have no idea how many.  Could be anywhere from 5-15.  I guess they'll take over the whole downstairs if they all stay (2 I know can't stay).

So I spent half the morning cleaning up the junk all over the downstairs.  Honestly- we wouldn't have a problem with piles of stuff if people would put things away.  It's not like there's a ton of space in this house to begin with.  SIGH.  I need to make a batch of cookies for the orchestra bake sale / spaghetti dinner fundraiser  (that nobody wants to go to and eat cold spaghetti, but we kind of already bought tickets for it)

Fundraiser tomorrow night.  Nothing else going on.  I probably need to take Becca out to get a new backpack.  Last semester's classes were really easy in terms of books, so she kept the small one that she'd been using.  This semester she's got books and 3-4 binders she has to take to class, the bag she's got is far too small.

Hi everyone, happy Friday and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Here, snow day for the kids and me due to the huge storm they anticipate hitting later today. So far, only flurries.  I slept til 8:30, the kids slept in too.  I'm mostly having a cleaning day, the house could use a good cleaning. Maybe I'll cook ahead later on, in case we lose power. Ian is baking sugar cookies.

Tomorrow, I'm guessing we won't get out, we are under storm warning til 1pm. The kids were supposed to volunteer at a 4H thing in the morning, but I doubt they will get there.

Sunday, Kayleigh and I leave for an overnight visit for her at one of the two final college choices.  Hopefully the snow is well cleared and all roads are open.  We plan to arrive on campus in time for her to have dinner there, and she'll spend the night in a dorm with another student.  I'll spend the night at a hotel with a good book or two, maybe a bottle of wine.  The next day, she'll go to two classes, meet again with her admissions rep and meet with a pre-health professions advisor

Stay safe if you are in the path of the storm!

Absolutely no plans this weekend or today.  DH is in town and is at a client site most of the day, but I did give him a list of odd and ends to pick up on his way home.  School today and then no idea.  This weekend, I have lots to do around the house.  DH has a couple of projects to work on-mostly mainentance.  I've got to go through school receipts so DH can do state taxes.  We owe on federal- first time ever!   DH talked about adjusting his rate at work so we'd get a refund next year, but I don't see why bother.   I've decided to take an internet break so I'm going to disappear for while.  All is good.

Good morning ladies.  I am back at work today, though I have a pain in my neck, I think I slept on it wrong, or should I say I tossed and turned so much I probably gave it to myself.  I came back to plenty of things to do today, so I will probably have a good amount of stuff to do today to keep me busy.  My lunch with my old boss got cancelled, and hopefully moved to early next week, we'll see. Frown  Off to the chiropractor after work tonight and then we usually go out to dinner, so we'll see.  Jordyn works tonight, so I need to see if she'll be around for dinner or what.

I am hoping the weekend is pretty low key.  I have to finish the dress I started sewing Madison yesterday, lots of laundry, grocery shopping, menu planning for next week and cleaning up the house.  Jordyn has to work Saturday from 1-3 and Sunday 4-8:30 and she has to decorate her frame for her cheer banquet next weekend as well as finish up her scrapbook for it.  Its supposed to be a beautiful weekend before a colder next week, so I'd love to spend as much time outdoors or at least with the windows open as possible.

And to all those in the new winter storm path, I hope everyone has a very safe weekend!!
