Hi everyone, sorry I missed yesterday. HOpe you are all enjoying the weekend so far.

Busy work day yesterday, a little stressful and also a little sad since it was the last day of one of our favorite students in the class.  After work, I went grocery shopping. The kids went to Starbucks in the evening and Dh and I had a Game of Thrones marathon.

This morning, Dh is meeting former coworkers for breakfast. The kids both have 4H Public Presentaions. After I get done there, I have a couple of errands, and then home for some chores and baking.

Tomorrow, we go to my sister's, can't wait to spend the afternoon visiting and enjoy whatever yummy wines and dinner she' s planning

We had a minimum day at school today so the day went by very quickly. It was also Disney dress up day so there was a lot of picture taking for the yearbook. Got home and am catching up on bills and laundry. still have a few loads to fold, DH heads out for a week so I need to get all the laundry he brought home, yesterday. not too much running this weekend. I think the kids have theatre on Saturday, I will find out for sure when they get home. They need to stay ahead of their schoolwork with tech week next week, midterms and 2 weeks of  performances coming up quickly. If they have to be at school, I might run over to a bead show for a few hours. I need a change of paCe. Sunday DS has a Boy Scout event and other than church that is about it.  I think DH is working on Saturday. Not sure on dinner tonite, during lent we have a favorite restaurant that has an all you can eat fish fry. Just need to know if that is what he wants to do. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Ugh, you'd think I'd learn by now to copy all posts before I hit post as to not lose them again!!!!! sigh.  You get the abbreviated version now:

Okay, muffins with moms today at Emma's school, no actual muffins, ate some of her banana bread and then finished my smoothie in the car.  At work now, lunch with old boss, then projects and paperwork.  Chiropractor after work today, Jordyn has a chiropractor appointment and then I think a basketball game.

Tomorrow, birthday party shopping, then a birthday party for Emma's classmate at the park.  Madison and i will go play for a bit during the party.  the rest of the weekend will be chores chores and more chores.  We are out of town next weekend and I don't want to get too far behind.

Have a great one!

MORNING!  I am in a good mood despite that fact that I am tired. It's really cold here this morning. I was nice and decided to take the girls this morning.  Made the kids some scones and boiled eggs for breakfast. It's different!  LOL  this morning I looked out our back window from where I was sitting and saw a squirrel playing with our big purple ball. It was funny to watch, this squirrel keeps me entertained.  It does all sorts of silly stuff, Natalie has named it Bob.   I have plans to clean the kitchen and make Tim's cake.  I also need to go find a birthday gift for him today. Took the kids yesterday. So, on Saturday Tim will turn one year oldeI.  I am having a hard time that he is that much closer to 50. I wonder how he feels about it. We plan to dog to the science museum for a free day, he wants to go.  Then later we will be eating at PF Changs for dinner.  Cake and gifts later I suppose. Sunday will be a lazy day I suppose. Not sure.  Dinner tonight Natalie is making spaghetti cause it's justin biebers favorite meal and today is his birthday. Insert eye roll here.

Becca says to me 5 mintues before leaving the door this morning "Hey- can we go to the ladie's tea tonight at church?  "K" asked if I would go.".  HUH?  the kid has wanted NOTHING to do with any kind of activity there for over a year.  Really didn't want to go.  Dh has been working crazy hours this week, it's the first weekend in a while we haven't had anything to do.  But- she wants to go, so I'll go to (it's for women middle school and up, I have a couple of people I know going too).

And I have to make something.  I said "spinach balls"?  We've been doing good at eating healthy during the week, and then it all goes downhill on the weekend LOL.  That idea didn't go over very well- so I'll just make the Bisquick sausage balls. I feel bad- dh is going to be on his own :(

And about dh's work.  If any of you saw the President's speech on Tuesday- the building he was in was next door to the building dh works at.  The budget crisis isn't going to affect his job.  The money for the carrier Ford is already in place.

We need to clean some Sat.  Kristen comes home again in a week (didn't we just bring her back for Spring semester?)  next weekend is Orchestra Festival, and Becca's group plays Sat afternoon.  Kristen said something about wanting to get home early so she could see the 2 groups on Friday night.

I need to go to the grocery store.  Running out of everything.  I was trying to wait and make a commissary run.  There's a big one over where Pearson is- and since I have to go over there and fill out paperwork for the temp job I'm doing on the 18th, I was hoping to do both at the same time.  I don't know if a major grocery trip can wait until next week though.  And it's not going to happen today- not if I have to pay bills and make sausage balls for 6:30 tonight.

Good morning.  I've got some cleaning to do- dishes and laun dry, dusting an vacuuming.  Zeph has a friend coming over this morning.  I hope he isn't staying for lunch since the cupboard is bare!  I had planned to go out for lunch and then grocery shopping.  School later this afternoon.  DH should be home by 5:30!  Looking forward to seeing him.  Zeph got his contacts yesterday and is nervous about putting them in himself today. I think he will do fine.  It is so nice to see his face without the glasses.

Saturday Zeph has bowling and league pictures.  I think we'll just spend the day at home, letting DH veg out.  Sunday is deep cleaning day.  We're renting a rug doctor to do the main floor carpets and DH can clean the bathrooms too.  Ceiling fans need to be dusted and baseboards wiped.  MIL comes in one week so we're prepping.  The fishtanks also need to be cleaned out, not for MIL, just because it is time.

Sadly DH told me this morning that our AZ trip is off since he has to be on a work trip part of that time.  I am very disappointed.   I've been craving warmth and sun.  On a plus side, we did not book the non refundable rooms, but went with a higher rate and will be getting our money back.  I'd rather be on the trip.
