Hugs Heather!!!  DH never pays attention to when my parents come to visit, but he always known when I start freaking out about the house being clean.  I think he purposely doesn't tell me when his parents are making a visit so I don't have an anxiety attack trying to get things ready for their visits.

I'm calmer.  DH is fixing the vacuum as I type.  MIL's plane was bit late which gives me more time.  The hosue looks pretty good.  He's going to clean the yard next.  Deep breaths.  Breath in, breath out.

My morning was goign well unitl I went to showered and realized that DH had not cleaned the shower or the tub.  I called him because emailing would not give him the full effect of my pissiness, and his answer was that he did some of it. Really, I wanted you to clean deep clean the bathroom, clean up dog poop, and sholvel the front steps.  The poop isn't cleaned up either.  I'm ready to vacuum and mop and the vacuum isn't working.  I call DH again and he shared that it stopped last night and he'll look at it sometime.   Really, sometime like when you weren't cleaning the shower?  It's pointless to mop because I'll just be moving dog hair around.  Thanks DH for helping get for YOUR mom's visit!

He and I won't be able to argue this out because she'll be here.  Thanks for the vent.

Can you say frazzled!  I needed a two minute mental break from work.  I have 12 bill analysis on my desk, a 12:30 meeting to go over them, and only 7 of them are even started.  Then I got a call from the other division I am supposed to be "helping" but instead have been given the entire project, saying that it wasn't good enough, do I have time to go over it right now. Umm, no.  you didn't train me, I was under the understanding I was helping, not entirely in charge of hte project and I am busier than crap with my actual real assigned job.  I'm sorry, I'm a little witchy today, my PMS is in full swing, I have had the kids the entire week on my own, and while I am soooo glad DH is back in town, he has literally called me 10 times this morning already!!!!  He has taken over dealings with the insurance company for the negotiation of the amount they will give us for her car and finding her a suitable car.  I am just blah and am starving!!

Tonight, hopefully a chiropractor appointment, and packing for this weekend.

Jordyn's last cheer competition I can attend is this weekend.  DH is taking the kids for the weekend while I attend it woohoo!!.  So we will be leaving tomorrow morning around 6 a.m. and returning home sunday evening around 8 or 9 p.m.   I have some stuff I want to do while there, pick up stuff for Emma's birthday party and easter and Jordyn and I are going to go out to dinner Saturday evening after her part of the competition and then go see Oz.  Totally looking forward to this weekend once I get through the madness of today!

Have a great one!

Hi everyone, happy Friday.  I'd be happier if we didn't have nearly a foot of snow and no school today :(

The patient is slowly improving. I wish the swelling was down more, but I do see a little improvement.

I'm spending the day cleaning.  Kayleigh is turning down the colleges she won't be attending, and Ian is working on his science fair poster board.

Tomorrow, Ian has the science fair in the morning. Kayleigh will be there too, (wo)manning the 4H table.  After that, Ian and Dh are supposed to go on a scout campout.  I'll be doing the food shopping, since I don't expect to get out later and do that like I'd normally do after work on a friday.

Sunday, the teens are both volunteering at a 4H fundraiser - Kayleigh in the morning and Ian in the afternoon.  Then in the evening, we have tentative plans to go out to dinner to celebrate Kayleigh's college acceptance/enrollment.

We may also need to go to a wake over the weekend.  We are friends with a neighbor family, and the wife's mom (who we knew well and who babysat for Ian when he was younger) passed away unexpectedly yesterday.

I am home sick today, so after I get the kids to school I am going to take a nap. Hopefully I will feel well enough to tackle the chores I need to get done. DH will be back on Saturday night. DS has the SAT on Saturday and then theatre in the afternoon. DD also has theatre on Saturday and a dance competition on Sunday. At least she dances early and them the rest of the day is free. I had a list of things I wanted to have done this week and have accomplished none of it, just feeling icky all week. Sunday will be spent getting ready for Monday .

Good morning!  DH just left with the pups.  They are off to the vet for a bath and nail trim.  I’ve got dusting and mopping to do.  Plus I also need to change the bedding on Zeph’s bed for MIL to use.  Before lunch I also hope to get to the grocery store, unload and then go back out to pick up the pups.   I should stop at the library also.  Zeph needs a print copy of the book he's listening to on audio.  He's working on school this morning and then going to help with the cleaning.  Tonight I’m making baked beef stew and whole wheat rolls.  It should be a quiet night visiting.

Saturday Zeph has a volunteer gig/class at Fermi Lab.  DH will hang out there.  He'll probably do some work while waiting.  I don't know what MIL plans to do.  I am hoping to watch some TV, bake muffins, and iron. That evening we are going out to dinner with SIL/BIL.  Zeph has homework so if things get intense with MIL, he can bow out.

Sunday we have no plans.  I'll cook a big breakfast.  I know DH would like the day to relax, but MIL may have other plans.  MIL is suppose to move over to SIL's house today for the rest of her stay, but she sent me an email that made it sound like she is staying with us the whole time.  We will see what happens.
