I am in a great mood. It is sunny and warm! In a bit we're going out for brunch and then grocery shopping. Seeing how late it is, it might be more of a lunch out. We'll figure out the list as we shop. Both DH and DS are talking steak. DH is going to grill all weekend!
I'm hoping to get our screen door replaced too. DH and DS can do that. The frame is there, just no screen. The pups need to learn to stay off of it. I'd also like to start discussing the creation of a firepit area in the yard and how to fence off the garden from the dogs.
Tomorrow my mom and grandma are coming for a visit. Grandma did something to her Ipad and DH is going to fix it. We'll probably take the dogs for a walk. We haven't seen each other since the holidays. It'll be nice to get together.
Sunday, who knows? I hope it involves being outdoors.
Happy Friday everyone, TGIF. The 2nd day of my spring break-let. I did the grocery shopping, am doing a little cleaning and am hoping to spend the rest of the afternoon reading. Dh and Ian and I will have pasta with spinach, broccoli and garlic for dinner.
Ian has been puttering around doing this and that, playing with the pets, doing some writing.
It's Kayleigh's last full day and last night of her trip. I can't believe she is coming home tomorrow night.
Tonight, I just plan to relax, watch a little tv, have some wine, etc

Hey ladies. We had another full day. We went to Arlington national cemetery. There was a funeral in process and we heard the gun salute and taps. It's overwhelming the amount of graves there are. Some are wives, sons, daughters and infants of soldiers. We also saw the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldiers. There was also a ceremony where a group of kids were laying a wreath at the graves. We walk the mall and made our way up the side of the reflection pool to the Lincoln memorial. I got inside, at the base and cried. Who'd have thought I'd ever be there. An experience of a lifetime. Girls thought I was being stupid. I am in awe of our Capitol. We also shopped our a$$e$ off. LOL Bought sweatshirts, tshirts, hats, other stuff. Talk about timing, I got paid today! Anyway, kids are having a great time. I wish I could enjoy Natalie more but her mouth is awful and her whole attitude can be rotten most of a day. I should count how many eye rolls I get in a day. Matthew is in his element, he loves Virginia, loves the DC city area too. I'm too old or this on a daily basis. Love my little city of Madison. We are staying an extra day and coming home on Sunday. Have a happy Easter!
