I start classes on August 27th and my kids go back to school on September 4. Of course, DS has had Captain's practice and regular football practice for the last 3 weeks, so I feel like school has already started for us.

Well last nite was interesting. Got to work and the charge nurse said, "did you see the new job posting? I think you should go for it!" A little while later, my boss calls and mimics the conversation and tells me "you will be perfect for this, you have done this before and I'll write a glowing recommendation!" I will still be working with her, so she wouldn't be completely rid of me. So I guess I'm going for it, let's hope someone doesn't squeak in and grab it. :/

Later in the evening, I went out to Triage, where it is quieter. Opened up my FB to see what was going on in the world and discovered there was a girl hijacking Kenzie's posts and saying terrible things. Come to find out , it's a boy impersonating a girl and he was tearing down quite a few people. Needless to say, not the brightest bulb in the world. I feel bad for dealing with that at work, but I was getting the work done and taking care of people as they came in. But ugh, I thought my head was going to explode.

Weekend is a quiet one. Swim practice tomorrow and then hockey really revs up on Sunday. Next week is finale week for this team, so cross our fingers it is a good one.

Have a good one.

Hi all. Worked this morning and am now home relaxing. Kids are at the mall with friends and will be home just before dinner. Not sure what's for dinners yet. Dh will be at Aikido so it's just the three of us.

After a summer of frenzy, a weekend with no plans is very welcome. Evan starts school on Tuesday and Megan has orientation Tuesday and goes back the 28th. Most of the back to school stuff is done except books for Evan and folders and binders for Megan. Not even too much to clean up around the house, just family room and laundry room. Major work to do in those rooms but it's not super critical so I'm going to attack it a little at a time while I'm off work the next two weeks. I'm motivated now so I really believe I'll get it done. The only major thing I want to get done this weekend is a daily schedule for me and the kids.

Good morning!  I am in a great mood.  DH met his top tier for commissions and I wish we had the physical money so I could roll around in it!  Money might not buy happiness, but it certainly reduces my stress levels:smileyhappy:    I paid for some sight seeing trips for vacation and put the necessary money aside for the pet sitter, gas and food ( hotel is already paid for). We still have to charter a boat for our island camping trip, but that should be the last of the planning. I am so looking forward to a vacation paid for in cash with no bills afterwards to mar the relaxation.

DH is home today and this weekend.  I have a long list of things from phone calls to errands that need to be done.  I'm hoping that between the two of us, we can get it all accomplished  today.  Return blinds, grocery shop, Target run, make lists for groceries and Target, library to return books and pay late/movie fines, call credit card and notify that DH will be out of the country, lawn mowed, boat charter, straighten out ticket mess with opera house, find out how to register with a different park district, laundry, dishes, walk the dog, call all utilities and cancel services.

Saturday we have no plans.  I hope to go for a hike or fishing and enjoy the last weekend in the house before moving weekend.  Sunday we are having a farewell dinner with the ILs and SIL/BIL.  I don't know when we'll all be be in the same place/time again.

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a wonderful week!  Kayleigh and I had a road trip to visit her final two prospective colleges. We left before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, drove up to Vermont and visited Johnson State.  We stayed over in Stowe, visited the Ben and Jerry's factory on Wednesday and then drove to Maine, where we stayed overnight in Bangor. Yesterday, we visited Husson University and made the long drive home.

Today, Kayleigh was getting her hair cut this morning and then getting her senior portraits taken. I am having a chores day, various cleaning tasks. This afternoon, I'll have to go food shopping and I hope to just relax tonight.

Tomorrow, no real plans for during the day. If it's good weather, Ian and I will probably head to the lake for a few hours, and then I have book club tomorrow night.  Sunday, no plans for during the day.  In the evening, Dh and I have tickets for a Shakespeare in the Park performance of Love's Labor Lost.  Kayleigh is dogsitting this weekend and Ian is babysitting for turtles.

Good morning ladies, rough morning as usual.  I am so looking forward to this weekend, hoping to relax quite a bit.  Jordyn is off to the lake with friends today.  It is a pretty quiet day for me, hoping to get a nap in at lunch time.  Presseason Football tonight on TV, they are actually showing the Lions down here in Texas live, goal is to get the kids settled into bed at a decent time so I can sit and watch it.

Tomorrow, cleaning and laundry.  Jordyn is spending the night at a friend's tomorrow evening, one last hoorah before school starts a week from Monday.

Sunday, I'm sure more cleaning and laundry.  Depending on the weather I am sure DH will want to go skydiving.

Have a great weekend!
