We had a detour of plans on Friday evening. Tim and I had a spontaneous date. Didn't stay out long since Tim wasn't feeling too great. He did cancel a fishing thing with friends to take me out. Saturday we did a bit of clean up, getting rid of things that we didn't want or putting things away. Today we have storms. It's gray and dark out right now and it's just after 10am. I cut off a few pairs of capris Katie no longer liked as capris into shorts. I only have one pair to hem since the other pair is sweat pants material. No need to hem those. Thunder! I really like days like today, not bad storms just rumbling and stuff. Hope you're having a good weekend.

Checking in late, hope everyone is having A great weekend. Last night was Senior Ball, DS is only a junior, but was asked by a senior friend of his. They had a great time, woke up to 2 boys sleeping in my living room this morning. Both had to leave pretty early so they didn't even have breakfast. DS has his Scoutmaster conference for his EAgle Scout tomorrow and then just Board of Review in two weeks and he is done. He will be doing home work the rest of the weekend. DD was invited to a quincenera, she is going with a friend and staying the night. I am doing chores and laundry all weekend. I have a very rough group of students next week so I know I will be tired every evening. Trying to get as much out of the way as possible. Tomorrow is church and picking up DD from her friend's house. >

Thankful this week is over.  It has been a rough one all the way around.  The BF's mom is in the hospital in Duluth.  The BF's dad had an attack of appendicitis and he is in the hospital in the town just south of here.  It makes singing a hunk of hair off the back of my head this afternoon pale in comparison.  I reviewed my portfolio shots for my photography class and I realized I needed additional photos, so I took photos this afternoon, got caught up on my online discussion in photography, and went out to dinner with our church group.  I got home and the puppy shredded one of the runners in the hallway.  I am not overly upset.  They were inexpensive and should be easy to replace.  We let all three of the dogs out and Crazydog and The Puppy rolled in mud.  It was 63 degrees today, so there is a plentiful supply.  I had to bathe both of them which was a circus.  Crazydog hates getting a bath, but he is a sweetheart, so he puts up with it.  The Puppy barked and cried and carried on the whole time Crazydog was in the shower.  Then when it was her turn, she kept opening the shower door and trying to get out.  By the time we got done, the bathroom floor was flooded and I needed 7 beachtowels to soak it all up, plus more for drying the dogs and myself.

DD has to work all weekend.  DS has behind the wheel tomorrow morning at 9:00, so we need to leave the house by 8:00.  There is a quarterly meeting at church on Sunday, then DH and DS have to go to a Jamboree meeting for DS's Jamboree troop.  While they are at the Jamboree meeting, I plan to attend the community play.  My best friend is in it, and I can't wait to see what the community theatre group is doing this year.  DS was supposed to have gone to Spring Conclave this weekend, but we didn't hear about it until it was too late for him to register.  We will have to send him in the fall.  Hopefully it will be warmer.

Hi friends, happy Friday. It was something of a hectic day at work, a lot going on. It felt like someone snuck in an extra day this week!

Kids had regular school days.  Ian and Dh left on a scout weekend trip to West Point Military Academy.  Tonight, I'm hosting book club at my house. Yay for good company, snacks and not having to limit the wine intact because I won't be driving home.

Tomorrow, food shopping and chores in the morning.  Then a relaxing afternoon by myself while Kayleigh is volunteering at the senior citizen prom.

Sunday, Kayleigh and I plan to walk the track in the morning and attend the symphony in the afternoon.  Dh and Ian are going to the Challenger Space Center on the way back from the scout trip

Typical morning. This is my day off.  I fell asleep after everyone left and Tim woke me calling about lunch. I am vacuuming the couch, cat fur.  I need to go pick up some milk and strop off a bunch of clothes to the thrift store.  We have several bags full now. Later I may make some dough for pizza. Matthews wanting to make it real bad. LOL. Movie time tonight I suppose and hanging out with the kids.

Saturday will be front yard mowing.  I want to plant some bulbs also.  Not sure of what else.

Sunday is just another day.m not sure what is going on.

I really should be doing something today.  I just got a call from HR, Pearson has something for me for the next couple of weeks. :)  Hope it's not a pay by the piece thing.

Becca called saying she was "sick".  Riiight.  Senior prom is tonight, and I'm thinking that classes are gonna be real small come 3rd and 4th block (you had to attend the 1st 2 in order to go to prom).  She's not a senior, she's not going to prom.  Her French grade isn't bad right now, and I'd like it to STAY that way.  After I didn't answer her back- she said she felt better.

I have a govenor's school thing for parents of kids attending next year.  I don't really want to go, but Becca wants me to, so I will.

Tomorrow is our small group get together.

Sunday- probably groceries now that I've got to work.

Looks like we're in for a beautiful weekend.

DH is off to the grocery store.  DS is reading in bed and I have the laundry going.  Planning on school this morning.  DS wants to go out in a bit to clean the yard.  He's got a friend coming over after lunch and they plan on being outside.  This evening is break dance with a stop at the library.  I've got housework/bills to work on.  DH is expecting a call today from the higher ups to determine his future career path.   We do know that he is going to Singapore.  I think the CDC recommends shots so I need to follow up on that with the doctor.

Saturday I want to get the lawn fertilzied and reseeded in places.  DH and I need to look at part of the yard that would make the perfect firepit area, but I am unsure if we'll need to do some leveling or not.  We're taking my dad out for dinner to a Brazilian Steakhouse.  DH has been to this restauant in TX.  I hope the one here is comparable.  It's a pricey meal and I hate to spenfd that kind of money on a bad meal.

Sunday the plan is to wash and vacuum the cards.  Hopefully a hike with the dogs and/or a bike ride. I want othe hosue and luandry under contriol by SUnday night. NEdxt week si busy and I will nto have time for routine household maintenance.

Busy weekend, at least for Jordyn.  Today, I have a meeting at 9, a telephone conference at noon, and then going to pick up the boutinierre for Jordyn's BF for prom.  Tonight, dinner is stir fry and rice and laundry.  Jordyn is going with the BF to see the Lumineers, it was her birthday present to him.

Tomorrow, Jordyn is going for a pedicure in the morning, hair appointment at either noon or 1 and then over to a friend's house to get ready for prom.  We'll go over around 5 to take pictures before they leave for dinner.  I am going to get to the chiropractor tomorrow morning and then get the girls over to the YMCA for some swimming and sign up for swim lessons now that i have them tested.  If they have the parent's night out for tomorrow night, I will sign them up for that so I can go home and clean.  If not, then I'll sign them up for it for next weekend and then Jordyn will only have to pick them up and watch them for a bit as DH and I will go out for our anniversary.

Sunday, Jordyn and friends are either going tubing or the a water park, depends on the weather.  The girls and I will be doing some crafts and some container planting while I plan out my garden, I think I have the ant issue figured out for gardening purposes.  And I will be cleaning and doing laundry, relatives will be here in 5 weeks for Jordyn's graduation.  DH is on call this weekend, so I am not sure how busy he will be.

Have a great one!!
