  1. Ivillage is going to drive me crazy.   I can read posts on the "dinosaur" desktop we have.  But I can't log in on it.  I have to use the laptop (that Becca has taken into her room).  And with me working 40+ hours this last week, I just don't have time to log in.

I have a job until maybe the 19th of May.  It's a score at home thing but they needed people to help finish it- so they asked 50 of us that had nothing else assigned to us to come in.  I don't really like it, I've never done something where I have to teach myself how to score it the right way.  We have a "supervisor", but this woman is just basically there to make sure we show up, sign in and have no computer problems.  Doesn't pay as much as  my last job either.  I did the math- and we are still coming out ahead even with me driving into this job every day.

So far the weekend has been spent doing housework stuff.  Dh and I went out last night to a live performance of Garrison Keillor's Prarie Home Companion.  It was broadcast from ODU.  If you don't know what this is- it's a public radio program every Sat night- kind of like an old-time variety show.  He had the Navy Band there.  A singing trio of ladies who are doing a concert this afternoon.  It was really quite fun.  We saw him years ago- I think it was the very first time he'd been in the area- we laughed b/c he actually knows how to pronounce the work Norfolk :)

Today- more house stuff.  I'm not going into church until I have to do nursery this morning.  I do have to admit- the family is being a lot better at helping.  Like last night- Becca decided to make mac and cheese from scratch.  I shuddered- thinking I was going to be washing a boatload of dishes at 7am this morning.  No- she cleaned them up.  Didn't put them away- and didn't clean up the stuff that had been spilt all over the stove.  But- NOT having to do the dishes was quite nice.  So I'm not going to complain, b/c you get more done when you praise what's done right, and not complain what's not done........
