Good morning.  We had a rough evening last night, I am hoping it doesn't spill much into today or this weekend, I think everyone is a bit tired and ornery at our house and need the weekend to recuperate!

Today, I have a telephone conference at 1:00 and that is really it other than a few projects I am working on.  Jordyn has a game tonight, so she'll be gone til late.  Not sure what is for dinner tonight, probably left overs.

Tomorrow, I have a chiropractor appt. bright and early at 8 a.m.  Jordyn has to work from 1-4.  Lots of cleaning and paperwork to do as my parents get into town either late next weekend or early the following Monday.  I want to do a few things with the girls, we may make it over to teh YMCA to swim for a bit.

Sunday, grocery shopping and the footbal game at noon.  Other than that, just relaxing, hoping DH doesn't have to work much for the day, it'd be nice to have him home for a bit.

Katie went to school looking like a teenager today.  WOW.  Wish I had taken a picture of her, she has finally decided to care how she looks.

Got the kids out the door fine, took Matthew.  I think he may strt riding the bus again.  I noitced that two days in a row the bus came 5 to 10 earlier then it had been.  I am going to my moms for breaksfast in a bit.  We usually eat out every Friday but she wanted to make it today.  I am a little bummed, I like getting the chance to go to the part of town we eat in on Fridays.  I want to get to Sams today but the kids get out at 11:45 today.  It's a teacher in service day today and will be doing this every other month this year.

We have volleyball practice tonight.  Game on Saturday for Katie and I and Tim is going fishing with a friend.  Nothing else planned.

Sunday, not too much.  Church I hope.  Tim usually waks me up and didn't last Sunday.

Hi from a gloomy, wet SE Wisconsin.  It's also the first day of fall. I love Fall..the crisp air, apples abound, etc..anyways...

Sam is home sick from school with a cold and constant migraines (for the past 2 weeks or so) so he's laying low today. The other 2 are fine and like being "on their own" sort of speak (long story). My ex has the boys this weekend but I'm not sure if he's taking them both days or just one..ugh..he's being difficult lately.

I need to make a grocery list, pay my bills and mom's, clean/laundry, and go visit mom. Otherwise, I'm laying as low as possible.. I need to start taking care of me because I'm running myself into the ground and that does no one any good.

Have a good one

Hi all. A little blah today. Finally coming down from all the stress of earlier in the week and dh and Evan are fighting each other and treating me poorly to boot. I honestly feel like dh doesn't really care about me anymore. Seriously. He thinks I'm picking fights for no reason with him or Evan. Okay, I've been crabby and almost evil for the last several months but it started because I was being treated poorly and now I'm on the defensive. It's pretty hard to have your husband tell you you're always picking fights and have your son yell at you for all the things he thinks your husband should be doing. Constantly. Dh seems to have no empathy, compassion, or love for me anymore. This may be partially in my head. I don't know. I'm having a hard time knowing what's normal and what's not these days.

Sorry, got a little sidetracked. That's been on my mind a lot lately. As far as the weekend, Megan and I are headed to WI for a riding show tonight. We're meeting my brother there. After the show, we'll head to my parents and spend the night. Tomorrow Megan has a riding lesson and then we'll head to the hospital and visit my dad. Dh and Evan are doing their own thing here tonight and will meet us at the hospital tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday we'll probably sleep in and then I have to help with the 1st grade worship orientation class at church and I need to get us ready for next week. Laundry, menus, grocery shopping, etc.

We're home.  Friday was spent driving home, but we did stop in KY to see he Cumberland Falls-- perfect timing to get out hike and renew our energy for another 7 hours in the car.  Vacation was wonderful and rejuvinating - just what we all needed.  The camp Zeph took classes at (parents included) was phsycially draining (alot of that was the humidity) but a great time.  I forgot how much I love the ocean- the sounds, feel, and smell.  Lots of dolphin sightings, seveal museums and historical places, delcicious food, more nature than anything else, and just good family time.  I'll have photos and a recap on my blog hopefully by Monday or Tuesday.

Today is the start of the laundry, grocery shopping, and bills.  Just finished going through the mail.  Now in the process of bill paying.  Two of DH's expense checks did not show up and they were big ones.  He's running over to the old house to see if they are in that mailbox.  Just trying to get back in the swing of everyday life.

I fele for your son. I have debilitating migraines which cause aphasia and physical twitches (to the point that I can't drive) plus the headaches and vomitting. I was not functining well as a mon/wife/myslef.

I am not on meds as my neuro felt that they would be hit and miss. They are now managable. Acupuncture worked wonders for me as did changing to a buckwheat pillow (something about the alignment of my neck/head while I sleep). A regular sleep and wake schedule helped too.
I know not all things work for all people, but thought I'd suggest these just in case you haven't tried them.

Amy,
I am so glad your dad is doing well and that the hospital staff had been helpful. I hope his recovery continues to go well.

Hi, everyone. I am taking a break from my homework, so I thought I would check in. This week was the beginning of Wednesday Bible Quest. We had 22 kids, including the two preschoolers that came with their mom, who is the snack volunteer. I had to leave my Wednesday afternoon science lab early to run to the school and make sure we didn't leave any of the little cherubs behind ( the churches are responsible for transporting participants in their Wednesday afternoon programs now). Thank heaven the lab wrapped up early so I did not miss anything. I ended up getting 60 points out of a possible 80 points on the portion of the science test that has been graded. I can get up to 20 additional points on the essay portion which has not yet been graded, so I hope to scrape a B on that test. There is another science test coming up this Friday (4 chapters in 2 weeks, ugh), and I have to turn in a project contract this Friday as well for a 100 point project in interpersonal communication which is due at the end of the semester. I have written the contract, a tentative project timeline, selected some of my source material, and e mailed it all to myself because now my computer and my wireless printer will no longer talk to each other. The Grizzlies kicked the other team to the curb last night, 42 to 6, on a miserable wet, windy, rainy and snowy, yes, snowy, night. DS's socks froze to his legs, it was so cold. Oh, and after having to stay home last Friday, DD has been much nicer to live with ;-)
