Typical Washington fall day - gray and rainy, temps in the mid to low 60's.

I woke up to 3C and overcast. (37.4F for my non-metric neighbours)

It's been getting progressively colder in the mornings and this morning was definitely on the chillier side. However, I was too excited to worry about the cold. DS had a half day today, just like every Wednesday, but after school he was heading to a friends house until supper time then home for homework and food and off to watch a hockey game tonight and back in time for bed.

o/ A day to myself, whoah whoah whoah, a day to myself! \o

I had a nap! I feel groggy and disconnected, but I got a nap out of the deal! It's the little things that keep me sane.

Anyway darlings, enjoy your day!

I'm in the Chicago burbs, and we have the best weather now! It has been sunny every day. Cooler nights, perfect sleeping weather, and warmer days, but not humid! It could stay like this msot the year. I still need my winter, lol.

I'm not fond of really cold weather but I can handle that better than I can really warm weather.

I agree, I'd like the normal late spring weather in Washington to last longer than it does, but I'd still need fall and winter.
