I actually wish they had done that with more of the books. Broken them up into two movies, the movies, especially 4 and 5 have had to leave so much of the book out, 5 didn't even follow the same plot line as the book. I'm really hope 6 is done well, because I was very disappointed in 5!

So was I.Gab went to see The Pants movie with my mom today.SHe actually saw the trailer for Harry Potter 6 today. On the trailer they had the release date as Nov.2008,which we know isn't going to happen. It is all about money I am sure, because I have a feeling the movie is pretty much done and they are just holding it until summer, because they think they will make more $$$$$.I don't know about that becaus eif you plan to se ethe movie yoy will see it whenever and if you really aren't a fan you won't see it whenever it gomes out.Book 7 definatly has to be split in 2 the movie would be way over 4 hours to do the story justice.I was really was disappointed in the 5th movie.but then agaian that was my least fav book or the series.

LOL...that's exactly why Aly was looking forward to it, for her December birthday and to take friends with her there.

That book is HUGE! After reading the reviews about it here and finding out how much even some of my students love them, I bought it for Aly through the book order.

I know...that's silly.

The 5th book is the longest book though, so I bet they cut a lot out of that movie.

Ive got to ask.. Only cause I dont know. Ive never gotten into the Harry Potter books or movies. I dont know if any of you read Perez Hilton.. but I was shocked to see that it was possible that they delayed the movie because the Main Actor (Harry Potter) was to be in an show on broadway where he would be naked. And that the movie people thought the show and movie were to close together so people would associate it together. Now, I dont know how true that is.. but I was surprised to see the actor in a role which would require him to be naked, especially since he is such a big name with the Harry Potter series. Do any of you know anything about this??? Would this be a reason for the delay in the movie??

I don't know if this is the same play, but he was in a play in London where he appeared naked on stage a year or two ago and there really wasn't much issue with it in London that I recall, but I know there was talk of it coming here to America and there was a bit more of an "uproar" about it, since us Americans are so buttoned up and all about sexuality and nudity.

Oh yeah.. thats exactly right.. If you are going to see it.. then you are. I think its such a huge movie series, that nothing can stop it.
