Okay, now that I found a cute name for the thread, here goes.  In response to some member looking for healthier recipes for their families, and some members that already are on track and have great ideas, I thought we'd start a Healthy Recipe thread for ideas, recipes, good recipe sites, etc.  Feel free to add recipes, links, comments, questions, whatever your heart desires!

And here is another one, I made this on Saturday for everyone. My parents were okay with it, the kids and DH hated it. I loved it and plan to make it for myself again very soon, I'll just 1/2 the recipe, but I can make the full amount of quinoa and refrigerate it and use it later in the week, just warm it up with warm milk.

This sounds delicious! DH wouldn't like it, but Zeph and I would. I'll probably use cranberries instead of raisins, but keep the rest the same.

I don't like raisins, or cranberries, I left the raisins out. My mom said it was "fine", but I used gala apples because its what we had in the house, she said it might have been better using granny smith to give it a bit more flavor and crunch. I'm not a bit granny smith apple fan, so the gala, or any other apple would have been just fine. Pears or even plums I think would have been nice also. I also didn't put that much applesauce in mine, I added a bit more almond milk instead.
