High School Musical 3 anyone?

Anyone else crazy/loving enough to take your tween to the movie today? We were at the FIRST showing (12:15) with about 8 giggly girls and 2 very reluctant boys (their bowling excursion got cancelled).

Pretty silly movie overall, the mom I was sitting next to and I were laughing out loud a few times (and I don't think they wanted us laughing then!), so we were easily amused. The girls loved it! Surely I earned some type of coolest mom on earth points today, right? I mean, c'mon, the FIRST available showing of it?!

LOL...I will be one of those moms taking my child to see it, but no, we didn't go today. In fact, this whole weekend is out--we are so busy with other stuff. So, maybe next weekend. I don't care for crowds anyway!

Hope you earned those cool mom points!

We were supposed to go today but Alex came down with a cold, so we will go tomorrow or Sunday.

I told dd we would go Sinday to the 1st showing of the day. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded. I wonder if Disney will push the DVD out for xmas.

Probably not before Christmas. Maybe in time for Easter, though. All I could find online is TBD, though.

HSM4 is scheduled for TV release in 2009 (that will be with the new class--the new juniors they are introducing this year).

Gabby went to the 7pm showing last night. Her friends parents purchased the tickets on line earlier in the day.Gab went with her friend and her friends's older sister and her friend. The parents went to anthoer movie in the same theater. The two 14 year olds liked it better than Gab and her friend(go figure).

Gabby did say the dancing was really good in the movie though. She jsut hates Zac eafron. She did have fun with her friend though. She certainly would chose seeing this movie over studying;-)She actually liked Mamma Mia and Chigago better though. However, the movie is just a nice movie, and anyone can see it without being offened.

I was a bit surprised, Jordyn hasn't even asked to go see it.
