I am back from vacation....

Dh got up Thursday around 12:30pm and we decided to go ahead to NC after all. We had a great time! If any of you get a chance to go to the zoo in Asheboro, NC do it! It opens at 9 and closes at 5 and it took us all day to see it all! We were there at 9 and walked out at 4:30. It's beautiful, clean and wonderful for kids. There are benches and water fountains every little bit, 3 or 4 eating places with restrooms thoughout the zoo, etc. I was amazed at how clean it was.

We had a nice hotel room too. We stayed at a Ramada Inn and we got a room with two double beds, microwave, fridge, ironing board and iron and hair dryer for 45.00 a night. It was a nice clean, quiet hotel. We didn't get to use the pool, but that was ok.

We stopped at the Richard Petty Museum, Horne Creek Living Historical Farm, and a farmer's market on the way home. We are worn out but we had SO much fun! I didn't even get tired in the zoo. I figured they'd have to carry me back to the car, but I hardly sat down at all and really feel good today.

We came home to RAIN! Surprise, surprise LOL. I hope you are all having a great weekend!
