I could use some opinions please....

I had a similar experience with Zachary`s 4th grade teacher we had been rezoned to the school and she had already looped up with her 3rd grade class and they put Zachary in her class. She was an ok teacher but the idea of him having her two yrs in a row bothered me because they have more than one teacher later on and I was afraid he would have trouble transitioning to another teacher`s style of teaching. During the Spring Parent/teacher conference she informed me that Zachary had not fit in with her other students like she would have liked and was not going to be his teacher next yr. In 5th grade he had her for one class since they change classes but not for homeroom his homeroom teacher was strict but he actually liked her better. By the way this teacher that looped up with her kids 3 yrs in a row is going to be teaching 5th grade next yr again. If your dd likes this teacher it might not be bad for her to stay in her class again but if there were conflicts and if there is too much homework maybe she needs a change. You don`t say if your dd will change classes so I am assuming she will have her for every subject. I wish I could be of more help but I feel this teacher ds had actually did her class a dis-service by looping up with them and now they are going to middle school next yr and she will not be there. Just my opinion hope some of my rambling helps.
